Great idea, needs improvement
I love the idea behind this light and overall am satisfied with it but there are a few things that I believe need improvement.First, the light sensor that is supposed to keep it from turning on during the day or when the lights are on does not work, the light turns on all the time regardless of the amount of ambient light in the room.Second, the motion sensor is a bit touchy. I have a king size bed that has supports under the middle of the bed. If I place the sensor at the center of the headboard so it would be able to detect movement on either side of the bed it seem that the stationary supports under the bed confuse the sensor such that it will only detect movement in a very narrow field of view and only then if the movement is relatively close to the sensor. I tried multiple locations with the same result. Currently I have the sensor pointed towards the door to the master bath so that it will light up when someone comes out of the bathroom into a darkened bedroom, the time when a collision is most likely.I am happy with the light the unit puts out and like the auto shutoff but the motion sensor is definitely a disappointment.

Love the idea, but not great quality
I was so excited when I received this as a gift from my husband. I cannot see a thing when I have to get up at night and my hubby hates night lights which, to him, are too bright. The solution: this underbed light with sensor. It was awesome for three months. The level of light is adjustable to really low or brighter. The timer is adjustable to the amount of time you want it to stay on after being triggered. I loved that I could get out of bed to use the restroom without waking my husband. The problem is that after three months, it just stopped working. We have no idea what the problem is. Hubby checked the plug, cord, light strip, etc. Is the sensor broke? Who knows, but it was an awful lot of money for something to work for only 3 months. Disappointed.

Feels like high-end hotel lighting.
The instructions for cutting the light strand, to shorten the length if need be, a bit unclear. It was not clear, to me, what affect cutting off the "pig tail" at the end of the light strand would have, if any.I found installation videos online which were somewhat useful. None of the videos have audio instructions. I went ahead and cut off the "pig tail" by cutting at an "indicated" cut mark and capped off the end of the light strand with the provided a cap.I encountered no adverse affects. The Bedlight, works great. But, I decided to "adjust: the location of the light strip on the bed railon one side of the bed. That, unfortunately, was a mistake. The 3M tape no longer adheres, the light on that sideof the bed, is basically lying on the floor. The other side of the bed, the light is still where it should be, on the underside ofthe bed rail. That is the side of the bed that I did not try to adjust the the 3M tape. I will purchase some more tapeat the local hardware superstore and attach the light back on the bed rail. The timer for the light, took a little trial and error to set the "on" time for the "just-right" on duration. The light itself works flawlessly and silently.I highly recommend this product.

Works as described, but too bright and finicky
Works as described. Emits a light that, in mine and my partner's opinion, is a bit bright. There are also times when we do not prefer the light to come on, i.e., during the day, on nights when we prefer darkness, etc. The sensor is VERY sensitive and picks up on movements to trigger the light to turn on even at inappropriate/unnecessary times. The one thing I would've liked to have seen on the sensor device is a switch on and off, enabling the user to have light only when he/she wants it. Also, the LED strips glow beautifully, but as I mentioned, they're a tad bright for a bedroom space (directly under bed). We moved them closer to the middle of the bed (rather than the edges) to remedy this issue.

works great but too expensive
I put this in the closets and also under the bathroom cabinet. They work great, but for $50+ each, this is too expensive. I had some extra light stripe from the ones I got and I contacted the company to see if I can get just the sensor and power adapter. They wanted $40 so I told them forget it. I bought this back in late 2014 but there are already a lot of similar products out now for a third of the price so I think they really need to bring the price down to be competitive. Plus one of the power adapter failed in 2 years. Overall it is still a good product and does what it says.

Great idea, needs further R & D
The lights arrived in good condition, I installed them per the instructions and after just one night I am returning them.- Too bright. I mean, WAY too bright. So they have a sensor that is supposed to only allow the lights to turn on during the night but since the sensor is under the bed it got confused and went on all the time. That means that they were on and off all morning from the sheets/comforter waving on the side of the bed. We were trying to sleep in (~730AM) and they kept flashing too bright on and off.- Sticky side is not very sticky- Its more like thin tape. It should be a thicker foam style adhesive layer instead of a thin layer. Makes it hard to adhere to non smooth surfaces. It fell off after one night.- Should have a dimmer or alternate light color option. I don't know for sure, but the color seems to mess with your sleep cycle. Seems like a blue wouldn't mess with it as much.

Bubba the Cat Approves!
We've had these several months and they are awesome! We have these tucked under our bed and they provide just the right amount of light to see where you're going, yet they aren't so bright that they wake you up when your partner comes to bed. The sensor is very accurate and the light turns off about 15 seconds after motion is no longer detected. Unfortunately, Bubba the cat has discovered this cool new toy. He parks himself at the foot of the bed in the middle of the night and triggers the light on. When the light goes off, he swats his paws to turn them back on, doing this repeatedly during the night. Perhaps he can get hired on as their product tester! ^ ^
