Very easy to use and fun. I found that it bled but controllable if you heat the product up a bit first before applying.Tip isn't small enough for fine details so will have to use a burner pen for them areas but over all I'm very happyWill definitely buy again and so happy it's cheap

A fair price for the product. Easy to use. Used to make a sign on wood.

With a light bit of sanding and a drawn outline, the pen worked well running over the wood. Even though it wasn't perfectly smooth and I could feel the ridges, I could keep the pen moving. Make sure you don't rest your hand over the markings. I accidentally did this and it caused the ink to spread and bleed into the wood. That said, I quite liked the effect, so it was a happy accident. There's no smell to the ink either. I used both ends and the thicker tip had a larger flow to begin with, which I had to dab up with a tissue. Luckily, I was using it to fill in a shape.I used untreated pine and the heat gun certainly darkened the ink. It doesn't have the physical depth of a burnt piece, but the colour is pretty good and even. Unfortunately, during the heating process, I noticed a lot of the lines bled, although some did maintain their shape. Overall, it did look messy, but for a bit of fun and as a beginner, I'm pleased. I can't see it replacing the proper piece of equipment though.
