Joya, No Added Sugar, Plant-Based, Vegan Rice Drink 8x1L

I use this non milk alternative every day in my tea, as I have allergy problems if I drink milk. I've tried alternatives including lactose free milk, even other rice milks, and I had allergic reactions to all of them or intolerances. I know because of the name change that was forced upon them when they lost a Court case over the usage of their old name, that the places like Sainsbury's for e.g. did not restock after the name change, seeing it as a 'new' product they didn't have room for. The battle to get it back into those places goes on. I'd rather have the one without calcium but as far as I know they don't do that one anymore. For anyone wanting to try Rice milk for the first time, perseverance is the key. At first it tastes strange in tea but switch back to cows milk after say three cups with Rice milk, and you won't want regular cows milk in your tea ever again. Rice milk brings out the tea taste in a delightful way, but you need to get used to the difference. Now, one thing you need to know is you must let the tea cool down or add a little cold water, as I do for quickness, before adding the Rice milk, otherwise it looks like it's gone off, as the heat makes it separate. I also have it with cereal. It's pricey but I really need it so I'm willing to pay the extra. I know they lost millions over the Court case and loss of sales over the name change.

As it is dairy and soya free it is a great alternative use it with my cereal every morning.

Good shelf life

Although these taste lovely, the thing that will put me off buying more is the price. Shame really.

This to me is the nearest taste to milk. Texture is fine and not too sweet

At last found rice milk again missed it I use it for my breakfast cereal and nothing else is as good enough. Just tastes good 👍

At a time when it seems like all UK supermarkets have stopped selling rice milk for some bizarre reason (well, probably money, why do they do anything), it is a godsend to be able to order this from Amazon. I can’t do dairy, it makes my skin and eyes itch, Oat milk does terrible things to my insides I won’t describe here, and I can’t stand soya milk. Rice milk is the only one I can tolerate. Although not supermarket prices, this 8 pack arrived speedily!

Having bought Ricedream for years but now appears to have disappeared from the shops in the UK, Joya is the same product with a different name. Share the price is more.I've tried oat, almond milk etc but nothing tastes as good for me as this rice milk.
