Classic albumFor the life of me I cannot fathom out why I didn’t buy this box set when it first came out but the situation has now been resolved !The music speaks for itself obviously and here you get the original album on disc 1, a flat transfer Steven Wilson stereo remix of same on disc 2 along with the associated recordings - the “Life’s a long song” EP,oh and a reprise radio advert!!On the DVDs 1 is the remix of the album and EP in 5.1 surround and the second DVD is a flat transfer,quad mix and “Life’s a long song” promo film.Nobody but me made me buy it and it fills a gap but . . . hey ho it does seem like milking it just a tad.By the way just what IS a flat transfer anyway?(This is a rhetorical question so please don’t write in)

The best Tull album to buy, get it Now before it is out of stock again.Locomotive Breath in the original Quadraphonic mix is excellent, if you don't have a surround sound system you're really missing out on music perfection.....

Great album given the expanded treatment, obviously not everything here is essential but the book is worth a read and there is enough extra bits and bobs to make the whole thing worth picking up

Having been a Jethro Tull fan since hearing Living In The Past way back when, it good to see their back catalogue being expanded with these extra tracks, videos and background information. Nicely put together package at a reasonable price. Many consider this their finest album Recommend.

What can I say, a brilliant album remastered and package with all the goodies of the time. A real collectors item.

Although this says its a 40th anniversary edition, it was released 2016,which would be 45 years, so a reissue?.Its already disappeared fast and price rising.Disc 1, Tull's most famous album given a makeover and the stereo remix sounds incredible, the best just got better.Disc 2 10 tracks from 1970-71 plus the 5 track 'Life Is A Long Song ' E.P. again sounds wonderfulDVD 1/2 again i wont spend too much time on these,the album in a variety of formats, i would have like the Quad mix folded down to stereo and on a CD rather than 2 DVD's.Again its a beautifully housed hard back book and sleeve notes. Fabulous stuff.
