Timing and proper use is everything – 31 moths in one trap!
I bought this brand after a previous brand of moth trap that I used was discontinued. I was skeptical because of reviews but I needed something. I put this trap (in the photos) inside my son's closet about 3 or 4 months ago, and it is still catching moths. I counted 31 moths in it, which is by far the most I have every caught in one of these things. The pheromone eventually fades so I added a second trap right next to it, which has caught a few more. I hung the traps on a wire shelf in the closet about two or two-and-a-half feet above the ground.TRICK #1: TIMING. I put these out when I first started seeing the moths, at the beginning of their "season" which is in the spring. I believe I put this trap out in May (in New England). The moths have flocked to it. You must be patient, but they will come.TRICK #2: Use one trap ONLY per floor of your house. Yes, I know, it is tempting to put them everywhere. DON'T DO IT. Unfortunately the directions that came with the this brand of trap did not come with a very specific warning that was included in another brand that I had purchased (the one that was discontinued). The instruction was to only USE ONE TRAP PER FLOOR OF YOUR HOUSE. The reason is that if there is more than one pheromone signal (coming from different areas of your house), the moths get confused and don't go to any of them. I eventually put another trap downstairs in our living room, but it has caught only two moths over several months. I wonder if I should only use one trap in the entire house (our house isn't huge). If you use more than one trap at a time, make sure they are spaced very far apart, and absolutely only one on a floor. This is the most effective these traps have ever been for me, and I definitely think it's because of the two factors above. GOOD LUCK. Moths are destructive and aggravating, but getting rid of them is a long game, so do it right or you'll be fighting these critters forever.

Pheromones Work!
I have used pheromone traps for several years in my home. And find them an ecologically safe, successful way of trapping moths in my clothing or books. You have to understand the principle of these traps to use them effectively. The traps only attract Male moths. The females don't give a fig. It usually takes a couple of cycles to see a cessation of the moths in your home. If you are expecting an instant fix - this isn't it. I keep the moth traps up to date. That is one of the things I like about this one, it has a date spot right on it so when you place it you write the date and no more guessing how long it's been since I replaced them. If the pheromone is good then any males will be attracted to it. I will update this when I have had them out for awhile. I usually catch about a 1/2 dozen males in my traps over a 3 month period. More if I have an active infestation. No more holes in my clothing and no more moths flitting around the house. It was easy to assemble. I'm not sure I like the hook on the top yet - it seems a bit flimsy but we will see. UPDATE: I have attached a photo as I am doing my change out. I never saw the moths but obviously I had them. I also didn't like the hook on the top - it's just didn't work for me.

Seems to work pretty well
It works pretty well although there were still moths flying around but that's probably to be expected. It did catch some moths too. Easy to assemble.

These are crap--AVOID!
They want $26 for these and they are a total waste of money even if they only cost $1!!! I have a pain in the butt moth problem. I used some pantry moth traps even though these are obviously cloth moths I have flying around (they like to land on towels in the bathroom and hang out there) and THOSE traps (which cost WAY less) caught a ton of my moths, but not all of them. So, I thought I would try the right kind of pheromones this time. The brand that I got before doesn't have cloth moth traps so I was forced to try some other brand (these). I am so very unimpressed. I have had these out for days and I watch as moths fly near them and never get attracted inside. I put all of them out and only two of them even caught anything at all, and I feel like that was because the moth must have just landed there and not because they were attracted there. I put these in areas where I keep seeing moths--it is so lame that they are not doing the job. Thank goodness for Amazon always having your back on your purchases. I got a refund and these are out with the trash. Don't waste your time and money on these.

These actually work!
These Greener Mindset clothing moth traps are the first product that has actually worked! Yesterday I changed them out on the recommended cycle and was amazed by what the ones I discarded had quietly captured. They are pheromone based and only the clothing moths are interested in their mating call. Per instructions, don't put too many very close because they will get mixed signals. Two traps on opposite ends of each floor were perfect. After a fire a restoration company removed all the clothes for cleaning. Let's just say they were returned clean, but with some unwanted friends. Seriously, five products later, these Greener Mindset traps actually work!

Works great for our family
Purchased these as non toxic and out in different bedroom closets several months ago. I totally forgot about them and was spring cleaning and noticed each one i had put out had collected multiple moths. Ordering more, good product.

Really can’t say because no moths have been caught
We have a problem with those little pesky moths. I took all the old ones out and put in new ones but haven’t caught any.

Works better than ay other product I've tried
These saved my sanity in the worst parts of a moth infestation. I had tried so many other things, but these easily killed 50-100 months within the first 2 months of me using them. I've already bought more. They don't work for every species of moth, so if you don't find that's working, it's likely because you're dealing with a different moth species.
