This book is a must read for married people,(especially those with troubled marriages), those who are engaged to be married, and singles who are trying to learn about marriage. Tony Evans breaks down the scriptures regarding the leadership of the husband and gives the practical how to on achieving this in a fashion that is God pleasing. This book is a perfect companion for the books For Married Women Only, and Marriage Matters, both by Tony Evans. This book is very suitable for mens, women's, singles and couples group studies. It's a great learning tool, incorporating Biblical principles, scriptural references and examples of practical application of scripture as well.

Every couple needs to hv this in their library, life changing material a definite must have!!!I'll be purchasing this and the companion book for several married couples that we know and counsel

Item don't arrive with initial package but Amazon fixed quickly and sent it. This book is short to the point, great insight for marriage-(from what little I read, it's a gift) and great for younger couples with the Marriage Matters book and wife's addition as a whole set. I also recommend Kingdom Woman and Kingdom Man with this set.

I can't even begin to address the power of this book. I also purchased Dr Tony Evans book Kingdom Marriage. The two books go hand in hand (no pun intended). I was 2 weeks from finalizing my divorce with my wife, NO JOKE. The combination of the truth that I was able to pull from these two books really helped set me in a different mind set. If you are struggling in your marriage with your wife, these books are fantastic for the man to work on his end. if you have a wonderful marriage already, I don't see how reading these books won't help you have an even more amazing relationship. Oh and these books finally answer the age old statement that most of us have absolutely no idea what it means... to love your wife as Jesus Loves the church. The understanding you will get from that statement will set your marriage on a whole new level. I intend on reading and re-reading these books for years to come. I am so thankful to have heard about these books on Christian radio in my car. The timing was impeccable... as God's timing always is! Oh and you should know that a week later, after reaching back out to my wife, I called my attorney and cancelled my divorce proceedings and began working on building up my marriage.

Eye-opener for married men. Must read

Very well based on scripture, with lots of references. Deals with some difficult questions. Not too long, easy to get though.
