Wool Wonders Medium Heavy Worsted/ Aran Weight #4 Super Soft Variegated Yarn for Knitting and Crochet, 30% Australian Wool and 70% Acrylic, 4 Skeins, 400g/640yds (Burnt Maroon)

I crocheted a sweater with this yarn and I think there are a few quality issues that made it difficult to work with. The yarn didn’t unravel well, knots formed easily. Several skeins weren’t one continuous string but instead had knots to tie strings together. The thickness of the string was inconsistent with some portions being really thick and others too skinny. For a wool blend the yarn was on the softer side but in my opinion still scratchy. Also the color wasn’t homogeneous, instead of burgundy it was a combination of black and red string. The yarn didn’t hold together well either, I ran a lint roller over the finished project and lots of fuzz came off. The sweater still came out well, but I wouldn’t use this yarn again.

This yarn is soft and very beautiful. Love the rich color.

I love this yarn. It is very soft. It runs thru my knitting machine like a dream.

I purchased a total of 12 skeins for a project which I have just started. Although it is past the time limit in which I can return the yarn, I still want KnitPal to know that the Wool Wonders 70% acrylic and 30% Australian wool skeins that I received are garbage. When I pulled out yarn from the center, it came out with a shredded tail. That should have been a warning. This yarn is useless. I will never buy it again.
