Love the light weight of this product/ Seniors doing there own yard trimming, made easy and easy storage.

Works OK, but a little underpowered for my expectations at this price point. Comes needing only minor assembly- you’ll need to install the front ring handle as well as the hand guard piece. Luckily it came with extra screws because one of the screws’ cross head tip was completely filled with metal. After charging the battery (disappointed that it only came with one battery), I took it out in the yard to see what it could handle. I gave it a good oiling with some WD40 prior to using it and then starting trimming shrubs. The blade starts off a little sluggish but it gets up to speed in a couple of seconds. It handled most of what I threw at it, but it also jammed several times when encountering branches about a half inch thick and also jammed on smaller branches if they were being cut at a diagonal angle. Overall it was just OK, but I probably should’ve gotten something with a little more power.

This is a nice convenient cordless hedge trimmer and it takes roughly about an hour or two to charge, when done its more or less a plug and play and you're ready to go. I had no issues utilizing the trimmer for it's intended purpose and ultimately when done it has a cover to protect the blade. The battery and all that is with it so no extra expenditure in that regard.There isn't much else to say about it other than it is lightweight, lasts upwards of an hour maybe less or more depending on what you're cutting and how much pressure you have to apply. I would say a realistic usage at it's lowest setting is up to an hour, at a higher setting I wouldn't expect more than a twenty to thirty minute usage. I got about 40 or so minutes out of it and I had did a kind of in-between usage and honestly for how powerful it is and it being cordless I am pretty happy about that.Keep in mind there is a little bit of assembly involved but pretty much everything you need is already provided so that's not an issue and it's nothing complicated, just a bit of an effort to piece together. Overall pretty good hedge trimmer and although not top of the line, it gets the job done for what I need it for so I am pretty happy about it.

First off, this thing weighs nothing. I was truly impressed by how light it is. I used it for an extended period, and my arms weren't the least bit fatigued. This is useful because I've made some bad cuts in the past after my arms became tired from lugging my large corded hedge trimmer around for an hour. I have a bunch of Japanese boxwood and holly bushes that require semiannual trimming, and this trimmer made it through all of them without stopping to recharge. It did have difficulty with branches not quite 0.5 inches in diameter, so I'm not sure that I buy the claim that this cuts through branches up to 3/4" thick. It may cut them, but it won't be a smooth cut. Really, the only drawback here is that you aren't likely to have a bunch of other devices that use this battery, nor will you have extra batteries. I'd be happier if they had made this compatible with one of the big brands whose batteries are easier to source. In my case, I already have Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ryobi, Worx, and Greenworks batteries. Adding yet another charger and battery just clogs up my workshop space.

I have not actually used this yet because we have snow on the ground, but I am excited to use it! I put it together. Putting the handle on required a little elbow grease and make sure you don't tighten the screws until you get the protective shield on. The handle has to be titled up so the shield can fit properly. I charged the battery and tested this baby out! It worked and seemed to be powerful enough to cut the small branches that i have on my bushes. It's about the same noise level as my plug in hedge trimmer but it has the huge benefit of being battery operated! My husband will be happy since I sever the extension cord every; year while trimming the buses. hahaha. Looking forward to spring time!
