This is a great recreation of the classic Saturn controller and I'm loving using it to play through my old collection. Although this pad is capable of wireless play, this particular order I made doesn't come with a bluetooth dongle (which I assumed it did). It works very well as a wired pad too, so either make sure you have a bluetooth dongle around, or read the decription a little better than I did if you want a wireless model. Review: The best wireless controller for Saturn (if using blueretro dongle) - This is awesome with the blueretro Saturn dongle. Now I'm not tethered to my console in front of the TV. Paired with a Saroo and hdmi adapter and in enjoying the sega Saturn in 2025 more than I ever did in the past. The blueretro pad configuration is incorrect in current release so make sure to custom the buttons in the webpage for accessing the dongle when not connected to the controller. This will also work great with the megadrive, but for me this is all for enjoying the Saturn. I can't remember the button you need to hold after first pairing it may be select or select and up (I forget but it's easy to find online) it you don't do this, the dpad won't work. Once you've done it once it doesn't need doing again though. Brilliant devive. Very low latency, so no noticeable lag. As far as I'm concerned it's a perfect controller. If the game has an option to remap the buttons, then you can do so. Unfortunately, the button labels won't match on this controller when you're using it on Switch, as Nintendo and Sega controllers always have A and B reversed relative to one another. The same goes for X and Y. **Q: Would this work well for Sega Saturn emulation?** A: It has all the buttons for it. If the emulator is on PC and supports x input, then it should work. **Q: Is this also compatible with the ps4 or xbox one?** A: This is compatible if you use a Brooks Wingman for either console, but not out of the box. **Q: Seen on twitter the l&r are mapped to c&z is that for both models or can i mapped them to be stand alone buttons?** A: I should start by saying no, you can't really remap them unless you use mapping software like the one that comes with Steam or if you just remap it through the Switch Settings Menu. HOWEVER I have made a strange discovery. L and R are always L2/ZL and R2/ZR and Z and C are always L1/L and R1/R. Except on the X-Input setting. On X-Input, L and R are LB and LT in that order, and Z and C are RB and RT in that order. So if you're using it on Switch then go over to use it on PC with X-Input and are confused as to why the hell the buttons are different, that's why.
