Great sandbags with okay clips.
I'm more than satisfied with these bags. I bought a set of 8 bags and they came with 6 clips. The bags are well made. with double zippers and quality stitching. While waiting for the bags to arrive I purchased four bags of "play sand" from the local, big-box hardware store. Using doubled-up ziplock, freezer bags I measured out sixteen 10-lb bags of sand and secured them closed with duct tape. When the bags arrived it was a slight challenge to get one 10-lb bag of sand into each side of the sandbags. But with a little maneuvering of the sand I became a pro (and more patient with myself and the process) by the third sandbag. I'm using one on each of my home-studio light stands, backdrop stands, and camera tripod. The clips are adequate to clamp down light object like holding cloth backdrops in place. But they are cheaply made of plastic and not meant to hold a fully weighted sandbag. At one point one of the orange end pieces came off of one of the clips when I tried to use it to clamp a bag onto a stand. But it was easily popped back into place once I saw that it wasn't going to have the strength to hold 20 lbs. I simply placed the a sandbag at the base of each stand and use the clamps as extras in the studio for holding backdrops in place when needed.Overall, I'm so pleased with the quality of the sandbags themselves (which was the main reason I purchased the set) that I'm giving this a 5-star rating. I would have like to have seen an option that came with a set of carabiners rather than clamps. But at the end of the day, I found that the sandbags stand alone in use. And it's nice to have the additional clamps for use in the studio as needed.

These work well with stones!
Using stones instead of sand has been excellent. They are a bit differently shaped across the bags (the stones) but they fit and weigh down quite well when added to the sandbags. I bought the stone at my local home depot and filled them up till they were filled, while remaining flat enough to zip closed. You do have to zip these closed with care, the zippers work well but you have to pinch in front of the zipper's path and gingerly pull the zipper forward to get them started. Keeping the zippers ahead close to each other will make certain it closes smoothly. Once you get that going you will fill them at a steady pace. Buying four 40 lb bags of these stones fills them all and leaves you with a handful remaining. This is a great product and the stitching will last long if used properly.

Durable, for sure
Bought these to use for photography and filmmaking. They've been incredibly durable. Much higher quality than I expected.Side note: we filled them with various sizes of river rocks instead of sand and everything fit really well and still provided the weight we needed (without the mess of sand). The bags have held up nicely to that.

seems durable and does the job, but one zipper broke in the bunch when filling
Overall I'm happy with the purchase. We filled them all for our gig, and only one of the inner zippers busted when filling (we used it anyway with single zipper). Used them now for 3 or 4 gigs and they did the job and held up well.I was also surprised how much use I've been getting out of the black clamps it came with! Sometimes used to hold the bags in place on the bottom of light stand, end of boom pole to keep counterweight from slipping, and to hold cables in place.

Great durable sandbags for your light camera tripods
These work very well for lighter tripods designed for light cameras or cell phones, which is what I purchased them for. Keeps tripod secure is brisk wind conditions.

the product is good. My only con is the zippers on some ...
For the price value of 6 sandbags, the product is good. My only con is the zippers on some of my sandbags broke either because sand got in between the grooves of the zipper-head making it difficult to close the sandbag or the zipper-head came undone from the zipper track. Otherwise, so-far-so-good a good product after a few uses.

Great for light and background stands
Great sandbags for photography. I filled them with pea gravel. Double zipper keeps everything contained. Sturdy and keeps my light and background stands on the ground.

Must have for any small budget film set!
I like the quality of the bags. Also the clamps turn out to be very useful for holding my mini20’s cables to c-stands. I will buy another set soon.

Good!
Neewer 6-Pack Heavy Duty Sandbag (Black) for Photo Studio Light Stands Boom Arms with 6-Pack Muslin ClampsI needed several bags for multiple lights. I needed clamps. The combo price was acceptable. The bags: I put about 5 lbs on each side/ 10 lbs in total per bag. (There's room for a bit more sand than I put in. I put the sand in large freezer baggies even though the compartments are lined and double-zipped.) You can also use rocks or, as I found, up to 20 lbs (2x cast iron 10lb plates). The stitching looks good. The material is stout.Clamps: They're clamps. Nothing exciting here!Overall, I'm pleased with the product.

Gutes Produkt
Sauber verarbeitetes Produkt.
