This light is amazing. Its super bright and perfect for emergency and camping purposes. For the price that it is worth, this is alot better than majority LED lanterns on the market. Compared to its competitor item, this light is better for tables due to its hexagonal shape making it unable to roll off suddenly. The back face if this portable lantern is also magnetic and makes it perfect for car emergencies. Overall, this is an extremely useful lamp and is is a great buy in my opinion. The only downside to this lantern that its competitor offers is the lack of color. Even still, black or white is good enough.

good light very handy with it being magnetic, however when I went to charge it, the port inside the light came loose and now giggles around the dead light and can not be charged.

The product description says it has a 2600 mah battery. The instruction book lists the battery rating at 2200mah. A large difference as for the lighting period. As a test, I charged the battery. I turned on the light at the lowest setting (2%) and left it on. The light turned off at about 48 hours. Per the product description, I expected around 120 hours. I am charging the battery again to perform a second test. However, since it not clear as to the actual capacity of the battery (perhaps a misprint on the instructions?), I will report the results of the second test. On the plus side, it is well constructed and the light output at all settings is quite good. But I purchased this light specifically because of its' large capacity and potential usefulness during emergencies. The significantly shorter lifespan is not acceptable. There is a very similar competing product (which I also own and tested) that has a lower capacity battery (1800mah) but is staying lit for a longer period of time.UPDATE:Performed a second test. Same result. Lamp shut down at 46 hours. Returning to Amazon. Disappointing since it is otherwise a nice lamp. C'est la vie.The competing product, a bit less expensive and with a smaller battery, is still lit up at 52 hours. Will purchase a second one for my emergency/earthquake kit.

I bought two of these and they are awesome. with 4 lighting levels and blinking with the magnet they are great for multi purpose. The charge lasts a long time and I use it on my work bench. I attached it to the underside of the top so it lights up my work area and is plenty bright for me to see small details.We also had the power go out in our house one day and I grabbed 2 of these to light a room, only needed to be on level 2 or 3 and worked great.

Didn't know where to use this light. It didn't fit at work or at home.

These things are awesome. They put out a lot of light. Are great for lighting up caves, outside, and under the hood. They also have an internal battery that is rechargeable via a micro USB cable charger. They have 2 magnets in them too so you can hang them.They also have a few levels of brightness and a strobe mode.I would definitely recommend getting these. I'm going to get more myself.

I bought this as a little extra lighting for still photography and works great. Not to mention, I've used it for so many other things! My kids used it in the car at night, I used it to see inside of a cabinet I was building, and lots of other things around the house. Best $17 I've spent this year.

The strobe option is pretty unnecessary, and I'd rather I didn't have to cycle through it every time. Otherwise the light works perfectly.
