iPhone 8 / iPhone 7 Leather Wallet Case - Folio Book in Italian Style, Genuine Flip Case, 3 Card Holder and Cash with Kickstand Function - Magnetic Clip Closure & Detachable Hard Cover - Cognac

Bought this in March to replace a previous case from a different company. The leather on that case didn’t wear all that well. I can say the leather on this case is much more durable. Unfortunately the magnet flap to close the case came unstitched. Also the hard plastic case that hold the phone has cracked off the corners on three of the 4 corners. So the leather is great, looks good and is holding up. It holds 5 cards easily, 2-3 bills if folded. But the hard detachable case is likely not going to last much longer and after 3 months the magnets are gone. In other words, I’d buy a wallet off them but not a phone case.

I bought this case in November. A month later the magnet clasp fell apart. The company was great and sent a replacement. By June the clasp fell apart again and I had to super glue it. By September, the protective hard shell case cracked (and so did my iPhone screen as a result) and then by October the hard shell case fell apart in several places and won’t even hold my phone any longer. Two of these cases fell apart in less than a year.... Not a good product and definitely not made for phone protection.i only gave it 2 stars because it looks great before it starts to fall apart.

The case is lovely and I like the full magnetic back. What I don't like is the bulkiness and weight of the whole unit. Due to this, I am likely to just use the smaller inside case - and that doesn't provide the drop protection I love out of a wallet case. The inner case and phone weigh 6 oz, with the outer case, the whole thing weighs over 10 oz - a heafty item in my bag - I feel the difference with the outer case on!Update: the inner case is NOT drop proof. All the corners are chipped off, and I am having to purchase a new one - needed one a 5 months after purchasing this one! I actually have not been terribly hard on this phone. Due to the bulk and fragility - I will go with a different case and company.

This phone case is of much higher quality than the two previous wallet/phone cases I've used. The biggest functional difference is the comfort with which this case accepts additional cards/items in the inner slot. The three credit card slots worked well on all cases, but the two previous cases did not close easily with additional thickness from items in the larger slot. I only keep 2 extra items and no money in the slot, so large wallet content will not work with this case.

I was originally very excited about this phone case due to its excellent craftsmanship, very soft leather and overall aesthetic. Additionally it was good to have three dedicated car slots with a flex space for cash or otherwise. However, my only concern, which has come to fruition some 45 days after receiving this beautiful case, was the durability of the areas holding the magnets. The stitching that borders the case is not used to secure the magnets. Glue was used here and just from opening and closing the case it has already become undone in a month and a half. I'm attaching images of the problem and can only hope they will fix this because they would otherwise have a 5-star worthy case here!

After a little over two weeks of use the covering for the magnetic tab was already falling apart on one side to the point I had to glue it back together and the following the other side did the same. Also the bumper on the actually phone case should stick out a little bit more than the phone itself so it would be more protected if it were to drop.I do enjoy the over all concept of the case but in my opinion it was not executed properly.

Although it was a bit more bulky than expected, I was really enjoying this phone case until the magnet covering began disintegrating after approximately 3 months.Update, after gluing the covering back on, at 10 months it fell apart and now the hard plastic that holds the phone is breaking. 2 corners missing now. Hoping to make it a year before I go back to UAG.

I’ve had the case for almost a year now and it continues to disappoint. Between the closure magnets being held together, at this point, with super glue, and the phone itself now spider webbed from its several times of slipping off the large magnet, I have to recommend strongly against it. The idea is good, but the construction needs to be better, the magnets improved, and the inner case made so it can stand alone, just in case.
