Cut Flowers: A Practical Guide to their Selection and Care Paperback – 18 Sept. 2017

i'm currently a floristry student and this book has helped me alot so far. not only does it show beautiful photography, the latin name and common names; but also care info and which designs they can be used in. i will also be using this book when i become a full time florist at the end of my course.it's a very good reference guide so i highly recommend buying it.

I have just started a floristry course at my local college and part of this course is to know the lating names - which this book provides. The pictures are beautifully laid out and the text in the book is extremely helpful to both florists and students alike. The teacher at college reccommended it so I purchased this and am very pleased with it

What a great book to help with a large range of flowers. It provides tips on how to grow them, when they available, how to care for them after they are cut and also what type of wedding arrangement the flower would be good for. Would definitely recommend this book

This book is ideal for working out what flowers are best in what time of year and lots of other information of the flower as well as a good quality picture to help identify the flower. Nice book.

Excellent book, great illustrations of the different flowers and easy to use. The only thing I found was the construction of the book is a bit weak. It's a small book just a little bit bigger than a A5 and is put together with binding rings and a soft cover.

Very helpful for flower enthusiasts

This is the best book I've found for floristry students. Its size and format are easy to use. The reference format is simple and clear. It would be on the top of my list if I were a Floristry Lecturer. I'd like to see more books in this series. Particularly hoping for a similar one on foliage, and maybe one on home grown plants for floristry use.

I don't normally bother with reviews but had to say how great this book is! I bought this for my staff who are both juniors but found a lot in there I did not know myself even after 11 years in the business. I can see me using this book all the time for ideas and advice. A must have for anyone involved in the flower industry and I hope to see more from the author!
