I bought 4 knives. I washed them by hand and never put them in the dishwasher. Always made sure they were thoroughly dry. Used a good wood oil on handles to keep them from drying out. They still split and cracked at the handle. They also tarnished over on the blade in spite of consistent efforts.

Looks even better in person.

The blades on these knives were very nice. The handles left a little to be desired. One knife arrived with a cracked handle. Another had a grommet that was bent and misshapen. As there were no replacements to be ordered and they were purchased as a Christmas present for my son, I decided to keep them but clearly there is a problem with quality control. They arrived well packaged so clearly were shipped broken. I will have a knife maker friend make new handles.

Do not buy these. They rust immediately. Ran these through the dishwasher before ever using. Came out rusted. Covered in thick oxidized metal. Scrubbed with steel wool but are stained and pitted. Terrible product.
