So I lost custody of my Cricut Air 3 in the divorce. Long story short, I'm a dude who does my own graphics on my cars & trucks, so when I saw this Joy Extra for the price, I was immediately sold!It only runs on Bluetooth, so if your PC is not bluetooth enabled, it is still worth downloading the Design Space app on BOTH your PC AND your phone. I forgot that Cricut charges for most fonts, so It's easier just to use the fonts on a Memo, or Word, or Paint program, save the document as a JPEG, upload it to the Design Space app on your PC, edit the image, and then use your phone's Design Space app to cut them out via bluetooth.This Joy Extra is super easy to use, it's a space saver, material saver, and cuts effortlessly!See in the photos how to cut a 3" x 20" long graphic by only using a 9" x 12" piece of vinyl 🤘

One minute, I’m making custom vinyl decals, and the next, I’m wondering if I could create an entire new wardrobe with just this thing.It’s so easy to use, it’s like Cricut read my mind and decided to make a machine that could be operated by a toddler (or, more realistically, me, because I can't handle complicated tech). The fact that it can cut out intricate designs that make my DIY projects look like I hired a professional? Absolutely unfair.My only complaint: now every time I see a blank surface, I hear the Cricut Joy whispering, “What about me?” It’s got me looking at the world like it’s one giant crafting project.In short, it’s compact, capable, and quietly shaming my lack of creativity. 10/10, would totally recommend for anyone who wants to craft like they’ve got their life together.

I have spent more time trying to troubleshoot this machine than I have using it. I own a MacBook Pro. Sometimes the bluetooth connects, sometimes it doesn't. I have tried downloading and redownloading, unplugging and plugging everything back in, restarting my computer and the devices, changing privacy and location settings in my Mac Bluetooth setting to allow it. The only thing that seems to help is either waiting for a cricut update. It seems like some of the Mac system updates are just not compatible. I've also spent hours going back and forth with customer service and they just have me do everything I've already done on my own or have found in reddit threads.
