You have to position these about 3 inches from the top of the plant to get any effect, so as the plant moves out of the seedling to the growing stages, these lights are too small and too dim. I think they are great for starting seedlings but that's about it. Granted, for the price, I think they are good just not 5 star good. Based on the specs provided, it seemed they should have been brighter but it seems they measure almost next to the light where larger lamps measure a foot away. The color temp is nice but won't work with mycology, only plants.

I liked them at first. The cord is nice and bendable so i could place the lights how i wanted them. However the light only last 6 months before it stopped working altogether. Just flashes red when you try to turn it on. I noticed for a lot of people it seems the lights stop working after a few months.

It was exactly as described. Works well Our plants are happier now.

So mine was great for almost a year. Then one day I noticed when I tried to turn it on, it would flicker once then nothing. I bought another brand and when it arrived, I decided to plug it into the new USB plug and voila…it worked again!! So if yours breaks like ours, try a new plug.

I have been using it for my firefly petunia and it works great.
