Quality compressor and safe for DIY
Bought this to install 6100s on my Bronco. Worked perfectly and any fear quickly subsided.- Lube the threaded rod and cycle before use. I used Lucas Oil X-TRA heavy duty grease. No binding.- The middle shoe size fit perfectly on my Bronco springs and fit around the 2.5" 6100 shock body.- Highly recommend a long wratcheting wrench (or 250ft-lb torque wrench) for tightening. I started with a small 8" long ratchet and was terrified by the amount of force that was needed to compress. The tool wasn't binding. I just needed a longer wrench.

Perfect for narrow springs
Works great on Honda, Toyota truck “shock modules” with tightly wound springs. Ditch the plastic protectors. Goop it up inside and out with grease, use the safety screws. You might have to insert the clamps into the spring, then attach the tool, same for disassembly. Make sure it’s all properly seated. Very secure and effortless once set up. Always think of the ends like you would a loaded gun, pointed in a safe direction.

Spring tool
I used this for the springs on a Can Am Defender Max. I used the smallest adapter. It worked ok, but makes the spring compress more on one side. It seems to be made for bigger springs. The tool is heavy and is pretty strong. It didn’t slip and is pretty safe to use. I did end up using a smaller compression tool in combination with this one. The spring was tilting too much on one side. Like I said maybe it’s made for larger type springs.

Seems alright
Seem like a decent product. I found some swarf/chips from the machining process of the rods. the pins on top seems like they were pressed in with great force and maybe bent (visually)
