Exceeds expectations. We anchored a piece of plyboard thru carpet to provide a stable base for the scale to set level and stabilize. Works perfectly and we can weigh anytime.

Great scale, very accurate. You do have to put it together but it's pretty easy!Wish it had an app that could track your weight over time.

The description about this product states, "Prints weight data to save time and attend patient needs". The unit does not print. After talking with the technical support for the company I found out you can hook it up to a computer and download software to make it print out from a printer hooked to a computer, or configure a special printer to work with it, but it does not have a print tape in the controller unit on the top of the scale as the description implies.The assembly instructions are seriously lacking in detail and only one of the 3 sizes of hex wrenches required to put it together comes in the box. The user manual is full of over complicated engineering detail and does not have clear easy instructions on how to program the controller for simple set up. Plan on calling the company and talking with their technical support. Also, the questions answered section states it will weigh correctly on carpet; it will not, I got this strait from the company technical support and we had to move the scale to a room with a hard floor.It is sturdy and seems to weigh accurately. I can't say how it will hold up, we just got it. If we didn't need it for a person who requires careful weight monitoring for medical reasons I would have taken it apart and sent it back.

My wife is a stroke victim and cant stand on her own. This is the first scale that we found where the railing is part of the scale....so that she can get an accurate read while holding on to the rail for dear life. Nothing else we ever tried came close THANK YOU!!!!

I am not a Mechanical engineer. My husband and I have looked at this manual and it says P1 P2 and P3P4 I still have not got on the scale and do not understand if I have to calibrate it or want it just doesn’t make sense to me we’re going to try again this weekend it’s a beautiful scale and it was easy for him to put together but what good is it to me if I can’t I cannot stand and a regular one because I can no longer stand without falling

I bought this for my son who is in a wheelchair because none of our doctors have one he can stand up on to be weighed on . This is awesome and great price as well.
