L’idée est ingénieuse, mais le résultat est assez décevant la partie du clapet est trop fine pour avoir suffisamment de colle et tenir vraiment. Les quelques premiers jours le loquet fonctionnait bien, mais le système de bouton-poussoir s’appuie tout seul dans ma poche. Après pratiquement un an d’utilisation, la section attachée au clapet ne colle plus du tout le scotch est dans un état pas possible et me laisse un résultat pas ouf. Pour la défense du constructeur, peut-être que la coque Rhino Shield que j’utilise a un matériau différent de celui de la boîte d’origine des AirPods et pourrait expliquer « une perte d’adhérence », mais il n’empêche que le bouton poussoir n’est pas aussi sécurisé qu’on aimerait. Edit: après nettoyage, la colle part très bien avec de l’alcool, Isopropylique, comme n’importe quel scotch

I was sceptical about this lock but it was extremely easy to fit and it is secure. It keeps the AirPods secure when they are in my bag and have kept the lid closed at small drops (from my trouser pocket). From higher falls or falls with any force I.e. being dropped forward then it can come loose but these have been few and far between. Overall this is a really nice and innovative product although a little on the pricey side for what it is.

I was shopping for a shell for my AirPods case but couldn’t really find anything I liked, and then I came across this. I’ve only dropped my case a handful times, but it seems like every time I do, the lid pops open and the AirPods shoot out and go into hiding. This was the perfect solution for me. It doesn’t make the case much bulkier like some of the shells do, it doesn’t interfere with charging or get in the way of the rear button, and I really like the color contrast. The included lanyard was a bonus. The installation process was very simple and honestly pretty ingenious, leaving practically no way for it to be misaligned. The latch is firm enough to keep the lid closed, but also doesn’t require a tremendous amount of pressure to open. I’m super happy with it!

The latch that is meant for preventing your AirPods from opening doesn’t work. It only works for a couple of times and then it stops working.
