Unreliable. No info, and hard to set up.

Overall this punch machine seems to work great. The fingerprint scanner is very accurate and the RFID tags also work great to punch in as well. The hardest part is actually using the software that comes with the machine and getting it programmed. If you a figure it out, it works great. The worst part is the instructions are a little hard to follow. I followed a YT tutorial to figure it out. Once I did that, I had it up and running great!

The media could not be loaded. I love this little machine; sure, it’s missing a few features like Wi-Fi and remote access, but it serves its purpose very well. The fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate, the RFID reader is fast as well, and entering a pin is as easy as keying it in. Programming is a minor challenge without a keyboard but can be done by anyone. I cant wait to start using it.

DIFFICULT TO SET UP MANUALLY AND TOO TIME-CONSUMING UNLESS YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 EMPLOYEES

This scanner was hard to set up. There is a number of long steps you have to take, and since it’s not touch screen or anything the process can be time consuming and dreadful! But it does read fingerprints and have a card tap reader that works like tap pay at your local register. They aren’t cards exactly, but more like blue circles on keychains with numbers on them. There are 5 of them for supervisors or upper management team members who don’t want the hassle of pressing the index finger in the slot, and waiting to be read. It just scans like tap pay. That’s probably the best thing about it after set up. It’s old school, but if you are on a budget but want something you can manage your employees time with, it’s great! Also it comes with a usb stick so that you can get time reports and upload them to your device or desktop. You can also read them by a series of actions on the machine, but I don’t recommend the long road!

Time to upgrade! Change is always hard, but I got this with high hopes. Only giving it 2 stars because the setup was not easy, and I just feel that for $60, I should be able to link this with my Wif-Fi network, or Bluetooth to get the information off of it. This requires me to physically put a USB stick in, then take it over and plug it into a computer, then cut & paste that information to my payroll apps. It's almost more steps than my current physical card system. I will say though that once set up, it is very easy for my employees to clock in and out with their fingerprint. It reads it fast, and keeps accurate records. I would say this is a good time clock starter system for small business with less than 5 employees... but that is it.The Good: Once set up, you can clock in and out VERY easily with your fingerprint. It reads it almost instantly, and says "Thank You" to verify it recorded you. Very small, and compact. Comes with RFID key chains which you can use in lieu of your fingerprint. Comes with a USB stick that is already properly configured to work with the time clock.The Bad: The setup up was cluncky. It has a T-9 style keyboard for keying in the employees names and details. The menu systems while simple enough to figure out, are not as straight forward as they could be. The power cord is only about 5 feet long, which was not long enough for me (and seemed too short for most uses). The Excel spreadsheet you download would be difficult to use if you don't have Excel. You have to physically download the information onto a USB drive, then transfer the information to wherever you need it to go. The instruction booklet was absolutely terrible. This is a nice tool for a small business. It allows you to keep track of time and attendance. You can program it by PIN number or they can set it up as a fingerprint scanner.The workmanship is somewhat cheap and the plastic is very lightweight so this will need to be mounted to a wall or velcro to a desk. Otherwise, it will be too easy to move or slide across a desk.Useful and inexpensive!

Good quality build machine. Compact machine that's well made.You can login with fingerprint, numeric code or RFID fob.The only part is that you have to download the data every payroll. I wish it downloaded automaticallyvia wifi. This step is not useful if you are out of town and need the data and noone else has access tothe usb stick. Setup is a bit tedious, but it works well.

It is a lovely compact piece of kit for a small office employee group. However inputting the work shifts and then exporting them wasn’t easy. I found I needed the very limited instruction manual. The staff were also confused as they weren’t always 100%sure if they’d clocked in successfully. I’ve had to find another type of system.

Die Installation des Gerätes ist einfach gewesen. Leider haben unmittelbar danach viele Probleme angefangen. Sehr schlechtes Deutsch im Menü, die gezogenen Dateien enthalten zwar alle Stempelzeiten der Mitarbeiter, werden aber nicht summiert und die Dateien-Inhalte ( Spalteneinträge ) sind völlig unverständlich, alles in Abkürzungen für falsch übersetztes english und es gibt nirgendwo abhlilfe dafür, wie man damit umgehen soll! Manche Zeiten sind grün dargestellt, manche rot, manche schwarz. Was das zu bedeuten hat, konnte kein chinesischer Support erklären. Wochenlange Schreiberei mit dem Support und nun ist auch genug. Hilfsvideos im Netz werden mit einem Zeigefinger ohne Kommentare dargestellt, und kein Mensch weiss, was er damit zeigen will.. Unser Testgerät ist in Bedienung und Zuverlässigkeit völlig durchgefallen und wir sind echt enttäuscht! Für rund 50.- bekommt Ihr kein Gerät zur zuverlässigen Erfassung und Summierung der Stunden Euer Mitarbeiter und müsst selbst rechnen! Nicht zu vergleichen mit ordentlichen Geräten. Flop!
