As many have noted, the walkie talkies themselves work well. The 5 star rating here is for the recent customer support I received when one stopped working. We'd had it a few months, then stored it, and then when we got them back out one would not turn on. I did some troubleshooting but no luck.I contacted the seller using the method they outline here on this page (important!). I received a prompt reply, provided my information, and received a working replacement unit in less than a week.Color me impressed!Many product reviews are made just days after getting them. There are probably 1000s of walkie talkies you could get, and some are probably cheaper. This is a quality walkie talkie, and you should ask yourself what would you do months from now when you need the seller to stand behind the product it sold, and you're past the Amazon return period.

Living in a small town, we wanted something easy to communicate with the kiddos as they ride bikes and go around corner to the park.These sweet ‘talkies have a perfect range that extends our whole town! You have to make sure they are on the same channel & the volume range is more then adequate- then they can attach to a peck string & they are good to go! There are 4, so we have one for each kid and one for home base. They come with dial charger cords and blocks. The instructions are easy to understand to set up each or your new ‘talkies. I hop it hold up as much as they seem to promise! Lovely colors too!

We bought these for our son to have so we can keep in touch with him when he's out playing with his neighborhood friends. We don't need a huge range and haven't tested it too far, but it works well for what we need. Overall I like them. They're lightweight and the lanyards haven't broken yet, which is saying something considering how rough he is! I also like that they do a little beep when you let off the button so you know it worked. It might be annoying to some people, but on our old ones, it didn't have that, and when he didn't answer, I'd wonder if what I said actually went through. But the thing that REALLY impressed me a lot is that he lost one of them out in a field near his friend's house, and they found it about 2-3 weeks later. And it still works! Just recharged it and it was good to go. So that's impressive considering it had been quite cold and had rained at least once or twice.What I don't like so much: the battery - while rechargeable, which is nice - doesn't last all that long. In our old walkie talkies, we didn't have to change the batteries for weeks of regular use. These need to be charged after a couple of days. It's not a huge deal, and maybe this is just how rechargeable batteries work, but it's weird. But they do charge fast, at least individually (I haven't tried charging more than one at a time). Also, they have a "lock" feature, but it only works to prevent the settings from changing. They can still be turned off while locked, which means we've had some frustrating situations where our son has unknowingly leaned against something and turned it off, and we can't get in touch with him. I feel like that should be changed. The settings seem kind of complicated to change, but to be fair, I haven't studied the instructions. All I really need is to be able to control the channel, so it doesn't matter too much to me!All in all, I think these are probably worth the price if the small annoyances don't bother you!

I bought these for my son, but ended up taking them on a family road trip with multiple vehicles. They worked great and had great range. The only complaint is that (and not sure if it was user error) but either the buttons got stuck or would activate on their own so someone in one of the other cars would not know that their entire conversation was happening with everyone hearing on the other talkies. It would activate with no one pushing the buttons and would stay that way for a few minutes and then continue to come on. Made for some laughs and certainly work well enough for the kids to play with, which is what we bought them for.

I like the different colors, the belt clip, and the fact that they are rechargeable. I got them for our upcoming cruise, so we could keep in contact. The sound is great and they are hands free too if you want that option. The price was very reasonable. I was skeptical because some reviews stated some didn't work or it was difficult to get the belt clip off to put the batteries in. All 4 of mine worked and I didn't find it difficult at all to put batteries in. So far happy with my purchase.

I bought these for immediate family in case of an EMP attack and now of course( we’re at war being threatened to have our electricity and water bombed, ) so if we lose electricity we as a family can communicate.The only dislike is they’re hard to set to one Chanel in particular and they suddenly go off if the batteries are left in them. Which scared both my mom and I. We don’t live together but her Walkie talkie did the same thing as mine., so leave the batteries out till you’re ready to use them.

We have 8 acres and just over a mile of property . We can communicate from one end of the property to the front end of the property and we can communicate up to 2 miles driving length as long as there is NO high tension wires the second we cross high tension lines we loose our signal. This is good for neighborhood walks with low electric tension lines or general feeding lines . So this should work on a farm we can even hear people while under metal aluminum, tin roofing so that’s a huge plus . Can be really good on work sites as these can easily be used with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

We used these with our grandson while traveling in the car. They worked fine as long as we were within sight. He loved using them! We will use them to keep in touch when we are home and one of us is in the house, the other in the garden.

Our kids love this walkie talkie! They had hours of fun playing with it and it was super handy to have at camping to communicate with the kids when they were out and about. Good range. Bright colours make it easy to find and the lanyards were handy for the little ones so they didn't lose them. Seems durable. There is the voice activated feature which is useful and much easier for little kids who are too young to use push to talk button. I also like how all 3 walkie talkies can be charged at the same time with a multi micro USB charging cable supplied instead of using disposable batteries, and it didnt take long to charge them. This item ticked all the boxes for me!
