This Ghanaian product has grown in popularity due to its vast array of uses. As a nutrient dense cleaner it cleanses thoroughly yet is gentle enough to be used on babies. Though highly recommended for its help with acne and other skin conditions, it is also natural de-greaser and is thereby popular with mechanics and those who have difficulty getting their hands clean from their work. People have noted improved skin tone, reduction of skin irritations, fading of scars and skin discoloration, relief from eczema and rashes and just an overall soft, moisturizing, clean feeling from it. Our soap is not tested on animals and thereby is cruelty-free. Due to it being raw we recommend you lather it in your hands or on a washcloth and then apply it to your face, body, or hair due to particles that may be present from the bar. Ingredients: Palm Oil, Cocoa Pod, Palm Kennel Oil, Coconut Oil, Unrefined Shea Butter, Plantain Skin Ash, Purified Water, Natural Vitamin E, Natural Sodium

Good quality and all natural
This was my first time purchasing African black soap. I did a lot of research beforehand to make sure I knew what authentic African black soap looked like. No need to worry with Cantik Naturals' African black soap. This is the good stuff! The way I use it is by dissolving it in warm water overnight to create a base for both my homemade shampoo and face wash. It creates a very nice lather for hair and on the skin. The lather is something I especially appreciate for my shampoo, since it helps to spread the mixture easily. It has an earthy scent that is interesting, but maybe not to everyone's tastes. If you're using this for your own DIY shampoo or face wash, then I recommend using essential oils to mask the earthy scent.

With Correct Use this Product Does Wonders for the Skin
This soap is authentically amazing! I love it and Inpove what it does for my sensitive skin. I’ve seen all the awesome reviews and I agree, this soap cleans my face so well. My skin feels so smooth and I get complements on how bright my skin looks! For all those who say this soap irritates their skin and / or breaks them out, you guys need to research more about how to use this soap properly. Prolonged contact with the skin is what causes irritation. Not diluting the soap, in at least some water before applying to your skin is what causes irritation. Not rinsing your face properly is what causes irritation. This product cleanses the skin so well that it does require moisturizer immediately after the face dries. I would suggest if ur skin is already irritated that you use an astringent or toner after use before moisturizer to calm the skin and close your pores before you apply moisturizer which can clog and irritate open/agitated pores. DO YOUR RESEARCH because this product is AMAZING if you use it properly. Luuuuuv it! ***FREE TIP: Store your African Black Soap in a sealed container or baggy and ensure you do not allow water to get into the container or bag. If using a baggy, be sure to remove all the air from the baggy each time before sealing. Just like bread, air and/or water is what can cause your soap to mold. Enjoy!

I love the clean feeling of this soap
I love the clean feeling of this soap. It took me a couple of showers to get use to the rougher texture of it but its simple not much of a smell and I feel clean after. My skin does not dry out and have not had any break outs. I started using it on my kids who have rough skin on their upper arms in the winter and it has been getting smoother! I cut it up into smaller chunks so it is easier to handle but this bar will last a long time.

Soapy
Shipping was fast and easy. Product came secured and packaged. If you used African black soap before then you can tell where it was produced. This one is a Ghana Soap. Overall I like the product. It cleans my skin good! If you do use this soap though make sure you cut and use in pieces. It does grow mold because it touches water. If it does wash the mold off good and re-use.

Would Definitely Purchase Again
I'm allergic to perfume, so we buy a lot of more natural soaps. Black soap works really well. We've used it for years. Some brands have a lot of negative feedback where people are finding bits of debris in them. That can happen with any ash-based soap. Unlike more synthetic or conventional brands, you're more likely to get bits and pieces of things that weren't completely incorporated in black soap. I've never really had problems with that, but I do typically dissolve the soap in water and make a liquid out of it.

overall good product
The soap makes your skin feel very clean and doesn't feel overly dry even without using lotion after. The only complaint is that if left in the shower it will dissolve very quickly, so you have to take it out every single time and I don't have anywhere to put it so it drains brown mess everywhere. overall good product

Good many skin conditions... A must try...
Super fast shipping!!! Makes skin feel clean. I have purchased raw African black soap in the past and I have always had great results. I believe I’ll have the same results with this one. Cut to preferred size. Use a fiber type drain mat under soap as these soaps tend to liquify if left in water. Scent is subtle.
