Where has this pan been all my life?? This pan is amazing!
This pan is an absolute game changer. First, lets talk about the fact that it is non-toxic. I did extensive research looking for non-toxic, non-stick pans. I landed on the Alva website and started reading about the testing that has been done and the standards of the cookware. Also, the way the cookware started is really cool too! I decided thatI wanted the crepe pan because I am a major pancake lover. I ended up finding a better price on Amazon so I purchased the pan through here. I am in love! It is completely non-stick and beautiful. I have made so many crepes, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes and egg breakfasts and it is still beautiful and non-stick.Make sure you never use anything abrasive on this pan. Only soft cloths or sponges, no scrubbers! I never store other cookware on this item to ensure that it doesn't get scratched.

can't remove burned residue
wanted to believe this would be the griddle/ comal that would top all others, BUT for my induction range, the stainless dots on the bottom aren't effective. this pattern of stainless steel only causes the griddle to lift up in the middle or arch over the stove-top. this is the case with most stainless steel dot patterns of course. what did surprise me is the fact it is not non-stick. no scrub pad will get rid of a baked-on residue from simple tortillas. it took me about two months to figure this out. now i'll have to trash the piece. buyer beware!

Crepe fruit
The media could not be loaded. * See edit at the end for more infoSuper excited about this item. It was advertised as a crepe pan, which is what pulled me in. I had crepes once as a teenager at a sleepover. I had never had them before and I was in heaven. They were delicious. So my friend taught me how to make them and gave me her trusted recipe. I was hooked. I started making them for my family and they all got hooked. Now, years later, most of my family makes them for their kids.I started out in a round fry pan but when crepe makers came out we started using those to make them. My kids don't remember making them in a round pan.But I have been missing the flavor of those crepes. They were a little thicker and sturdier so you could actually put fruit inside and roll them up. The ones we make on the crepe maker are paper thin and don't hold up too long. Good, but not the same.So when I saw this pan advertised I knew that it was my destiny to get it.I'm really excited about the size. It's bigger than our crepe makers so we can finally make good sized crepes. I am also very happy to get a ceramic non stick surface. I haven't like what I've read about regular non-stick cookware and how unhealthy it is.The pan is heavy, but not as heavy as regular cast iron, which is a lot harder on the arms when you are having to lift it.I love the depth of this pan. It's so perfect for many foods we eat. We pan fry tortillas and so many other things. The handle has a nice shape to it to make it easy to hold on to and not slip off. I have dropped many a pan unfortunately, but this one naturally keeps it in your hand as the handle spreads out a bit behind your hand. The only potential problem I could imagine with this pan is where the handle connects. There's just one screw in there. It feels very well connected though so I'm not saying it is a problem. Just trying to think of anything that could go wrong. It's very sparkly in the light. It's baked into the surface it looks like. There are good instructions for care and use on the inside of the back label/cover. They instruct how to use it to not damage it and extend it's life as long as possible.Very excited about this pan.5 stars*editNow that I've used this I came back to give it 6 stars. I REALLY like this pan. It really is a crepe/pancake pan. I tried it with eggs and they got a crust on them, just like a pancake would, but the inside wasn't cooked. I didn't realize a pan could be so specific, but this one really is. It does a fantastic job of making a beautiful golden crust on things. My favorite thing is to make big round pancakes on this. Why? It has cut down my cooking time dramatically. With hungry boys I have to make so many pancakes to fill them. This is so fantastic because I just make them each one or two plate sized pancakes each and I'm done!Tip: You want to keep this pan on low heat. It doesn't need even medium heat because it gets too hot and starts to smoke. It's amazing that it does such a good job of conducting the heat that you don't need to have it very high for it to work. I have it on the second to lowest setting on my stovetop and that's enough to cook it great.

handle replaced
When I opened the box of the product an broken handle was inside and a new handle was replaced on the product. The fit was wobbly and I didnt trust it to use and the fact the handle was hard plastic I had doubts about it holding the pan and lasting long. Have no idea why anyone would send this product out with a broken handle in the box even after replacing it with a new one. Buyer beware

Arrived broken
I love this company, but my pan arrived with a broken handle. I returned this item. The pan is on the smaller side.

Absolutely outstanding nonstick crepe pan
The media could not be loaded. Out of all the crepe pans I've used, this is by far the best one, being incredibly light and easy to handle with a perfect enamel coating that barely needs oil. The aluminum heats up perfectly, distributing my electric stove top's heat evenly. The handle is big and sturdy and never gets even warm. And the black enamel coating doesn't even need oil to keep food from sticking--it's so good, it just works without any effort. I've generally avoided nonstick cookware, but this claims to be PFAS free. Certainly the cast aluminum core is delightfully light, much lighter than the cast iron pans I've used in the past, making this easier and genuinely safer to use. And it couldn't be any easier to clean. Just a perfect addition to the kitchen.

Decent Pan
Good size pan with a nice nonstick surface. I wanted something that would replace large griddle. So far it has worked well with grilled cheese, hash browns. My only complaint is the handle. It is not strong enough. I had to send first pan back because the handle broke off during shipping.
