Perfect for Final Cannabis Butter Straining!
As a Medical Marijuana patient, it’s taken a lot of trial and error to find the right strains and doses for my non-recreational needs. I have found the best way for me to be able to count on reliable, specific, dose amounts is for me to make my own. Edible meds last longer in the body and the organic refined coconut oil I use lasts longer as a commodity, than flower buds do. Thus, for the last two years, I have asked for cannabis equipment instead of other gifts. I own, and use, both a Magical Butter Machine and a Lift Precision Decarboxylator. Both of which I highly recommend investing in if you are a serious MM patient and frustrated with the lack of reliable, more affordable, dosing options. As a particularly sensitive person, one of the issues I have had is with flavor. The longer flower sits in butter(As I said above, I use organic refined coconut oil, it has a much longer shelf life than dairy butter), the stronger, and more bitter, the flavor. I have learned to set an alarm so that I am ready to strain the butter the second the machine stops, to help keep the flavor milder. Another factor for flavor is the amount of sediment left after straining. The Magical Butter Machine comes with a 190 micron Purify Filter that removes the bulk of the plant material, but leaves a lot of sediment. I’ve tried using paper coffee filters to remove it, but it makes a mess, and you lose quite a bit of butter that way. When I read that the micron level of the stainless steel mesh strainer, that comes with the Pykal Pour Over Coffee Maker, is 41 microns I decided to give it a shot. I left my “butter” to strain overnight. You can see in my pictures what a huge difference it makes! There is NO sediment in the bottom of the carafe! That’s amazing to me! Two thumbs up!

Good Quality Pour Over Coffee Maker
Excellent product. It’s a 3.5 cup pour over coffee maker. It came with a stainless steel pour over coffee dripper with double layered filter, paperless and reusable cone shaped filter. It’s not bulky, good for one or two people use. I’m still trying to find out how to clean the paperless and reusable cone filter without washing all the coffee grounds into the sink. I used the Starbucks Veranda gounded for paper cup dripping, there was no water or coffee ground leaks. I drank black coffee and the taste was great. I love this cute pour over set. I’ll recommend this product to anyone who enjoy the pour over coffee.

Be careful when cleaning the filter!
I rarely write reviews for products, but I feel compelled to write one for this pour over coffee maker after my recent customer service experience with Pykal.First off, the coffee maker makes excellent coffee. The double filter does an great job filtering the coffee, leaving very little residue in your cup. The coffee is also delicious, and the included sponge and brush help to easily clean the unit. Based on the quality of the coffee alone, I would give this product five stars.HOWEVER, be delicate when cleaning the inner screen. I was careless when scraping out old grounds, and I bent up the seam in the inner screen (see picture). The inner screen is still intact/connected, and it it still works, but it bothered me, so I emailed Pykal asking if I could exchange just the filter. They responded within 24 hours offering to send me an entirely new coffee maker, which they sent with expedited shipping (2 day shipping). This has to be one of the easiest/best customer service experiences I've had in recent memory; honestly, damaging the screen was entirely my fault, but they just sent me a brand new one, no questions asked. For the quality of the product and the responsiveness of the company's customer service, you can't go wrong ordering this coffee maker.Cleaning Tip: If you let the screen sit in your sink with grounds in it (like I do), dampen the grounds before dumping them in the garbage can. It will loosen them so that you don't have to scrape them out, which again could damage the inner screen.

My new favorite Tea Pot!
This pour over Tea Maker Dripper is Magical! It is very light but made very well. I am in the last year allergic to coffee! So I had to find a different way of getting my early morning hot something ...fix! lol I use it for my tea and even though the water was very hot it handled the stress of the hotter water like a champ! It is beautiful in design and compliments my granite counter top. The delivery packaging was very well insulated and arrived on time. But more then anything it made a wonderful hot cup of tea. Buy this Tea (coffee) Maker Dipper you will not be disappointed! Believe me, this set with its extra goodies is a Winner!

I don't usually write a review but I really loved the product that I decided to mention
I don't usually write a review but I really loved the product that I decided to mention. I had all types of different coffee maker that includes French Press, pod using automatic coffee maker and I finally wanted to try pour over method. Was going to buy more expensive one but I am the only family member that drink coffee and I didn't want to spend more money than necessary. I also bought a goose neck stove top tea kettle. I was not disappointed. I was using same store bought ground coffee that I used on an electric drip coffee maker (though I have coffee bean grinder) and I thought what a fantastic taste. It produces such smooth but much richer taste than any other coffee maker I owned before. I used the SS coffee filter by itself and with paper filter on top of it too. Both way produces excellent coffee. Since the house is always cool side, after I make a coffee, I put the glass into the still hot stove top and the coffee stays warm until I drink up. Love to try the coffee recipes that I downloaded from Pykal.

It Bested My Espresso Machine
My first pour-over, and I was curious as to how it would compare to the middle quality espresso machine I have been using for my morning coffee. I was surprised to find it took a bit longer (you don't want to pour TOO fast in the pour-over) but the coffee was darker and less bitter. (I compared identical amounts of water and coffee.) I really thought that steam extraction would prove better. Unless I'm really rushed, the pour-over is now my coffee maker of choice. Also, the brushes that came with it were a pleasant surprise. It's quick and easy to clean after each use.
