If you are not very handy get an electrician or handyman to install the lamps.Easy installation, looks great on the bedhead and we have removed the power boards which the bedside lamps were plugged into. Eliminated an in the dark trip hazard.

I just installed them even though I had ordered them when I first started the renovation. It worked for a day and now it doesn't. Very poor quality I guess.

This is a pretty cool little light. Works well and is very bright. It's easy to install, though the directions are a little confusing. I emailed the supplier, and they were quick to offer help. Just so you know, the red wire goes to hot, and the blue wire goes to neutral. Overall I was very happy with the light!

The wires appear to be 20 gauge aluminum, but the NEC requires 18 gauge minimum even if the ampacity is less than 6. Also, as an architect, I'm concerned about mounting this fixture in a soft substrate light gypsum board since its attachment to the substrate is by three small screws less then ¼" from the housing edge. This might be secure in a hard substrate like wood (such as in a headboard), but its enclosure is substantially deeper than headboards are; so the back side of the headboard would have to be about three inches beyond the wall.

Just kidding. I had an electrician place them in the hallway and he said it makes it look like a gallery except I do not have art to hang. work in progress!He installed it in a few minutes!
