STM Dux, rugged case for Apple iPad Mini 1, 2, 3 - Red (stm-222-104G-29)

This is my third STM case. I like them because is a perfect fit and really protect my iPad and mini iPad. The first one of bought lasted five years and I only changed because started to peel off but it was still funcional so I went for another one. Unlike other cases that promise to support your iPad when reading but keep collapsing all the time, this one really does the job. If there was one for my phone I would buy it too, they are not cheap but I think they are worth the money.

Very well made and looks very tough. It has a magnetic clasp and also activates the auto sleep fuction of the ipad mini. I can well believe that a droped ipad would survive the impact in this case as in the advertisment but I am not going to try it!5 star protection.

I was looking for a new case for my replacement iPad Mini, as I had dropped the previous one and the case had not protected it. This case is fully protective all round with firm rubber corners. The front of the cover recesses nicely into the frame and the securing flap hold the case shut. I have not dropped the iPad to test this case, but I feel confident that if I did, all would be OK. The clear acrylic back plate is nice as fit allows you to see the Apple logo etc, but it is prone to scratching. That doesn't really bother me (after all, it's a protective case), but it might bother someone else. When opened up, the case can be used as a stand (landscape format only). All in all, I am satisfied that this case provides all the protection I want, without being too bulky. Recommended.

Really good, strong case. Ideal for kids school bag or anywhere your iPad might be prone to a bit of rough treatment or dust. One complaint is that it makes the on/off button really hard to use, but not really a problem as opening/closing the case will turn the iPad on/off anyway. Its REALLY expensive for a case but not as expensive as replacing a broken iPad.

This is a quality case. Expensive but worth it if you want something that looks like it will last.

I like this cover a lot. The first one I bought last 3-4 years and finally looked worn so I repurchased it. It is both sturdy, adaptable and looks nice.

Sturdy case with the reinforced corners. Peace of mind for school BYO iPad... ;-)The clear back is great idea that allows customisation to show through the case.
