Excellent for beginners
The media could not be loaded. Had a few issues in the beginning but we’re resolved swiftly by the company. I ordered the tank as black but actually got one white. Contacted amazon and they emailed the seller on my behalf. Few hours later I got a reply asking when I could get a new one delivered for free and the white one collected. Fast forward 2 days and I have a new black tank with some free ornaments to make up for the hassle. These things happen sometimes and I can’t blame the company entirely, as they made up for the hassle and swiftly replaced it with the correct colour tank. Really nice. Once I had my right tank it was Easy to get started and going. Really nice and simple tank, easy to clean because it’s square and a £7 cleaning kit from pets at home does the job. Great for beginners like me. First fish tank I’ve had and it’s easy to maintain and regulate. Good value for what you get in the package, however i would ditch the filter before you even get fish as it’s pretty bad and cheap, normal for bundles tho. I got myself a Fluval U1 Filter online for just under £25 and it works excellently. No other issues with this tank, water heater works fine and does the job well. All round a good aquarium apart from the filter, but what can you expect.

packing
Hi,The tank is exellent for the price, the filter may do others, its small not up too much, but a good starter for beginers, with the light and heater, that comes with it,but that is a minor concern as its overshadowed by the quality and most of all the price of this aquarium,I keep aquatic snails and cherry shrimp, which any one who keeps shrimp know THEY MULTIPLY RAPIDLY,so this is perfect, 10 out of 10 for this aquarium,my only concern was the packing,Polystyrene, big box, took me half an our too bag it up,heres the thing, companies dont give a toss for the enviroment all that Polystyrene, will end up furtherdestroying our and the creatues we share the world with, this is insane, surely there are better options to plastics,my friends, companies and goverments are pollutting every thing simply because making money is more important than saving this beautiful world, but not too worry, we will no doubt have the ability too buybottles of oxygen, to keep us alive, wake up.

Great tank
This is a lovely tank for the money the reason I have knocked a star off is there was a scratch on the front of the glass which I could have returned it but my other tank was leaking so I wasnt able to the tank itself is great well thought out very well packaged filter instructions could be a lot better they are to say a bit vague but all in all I'm pleased and the fish are very happy 😊

Good value and Design
Arrived on time as described along with all attachments. Like the design very much which goes nicely aesthetically in a small room. Clear good quality glass. Filter works well and so does the heater and powerful interior light. Would have been better to have a variable intensity mode for the light. Easy to assemble filter/light/heater. Just have to be careful fixing the overhead cover/ hood. The feeding window is ideal for feeding as well as for air circulation if kept open, helping with interior condensation. Good value for money. So far no leaks or any complains and happy with the purchase.

This is a great little tank for the price
The tank arrived two days before the estimated date and was very well packed indeed. The inner box containing the tank was wrapped in a thick foam blanket and placed inside the plain outer box, which also had cardboard packing pieces between the foam and outer sides of the box, as well as having fragile and glass warning stickers and arrows (this way up) added I used a piece of the 1/4 inch thick packing foam to rest the tank on top of a small cabinet.Ten out of ten for postage and packing. This is a great little tank for the price, but it has a few short comings. It doesn't come with a perspex cover to stop condensation from building up inside the black plastic tank cover, where the led strip light is fitted. However the light fitting is waterproof, but it would have been better with a clear internal cover as well. The internal filter is too small in my opinion, having just a small coarse sponge about 2 inches square with no room to add anything else, although the filter pump gives a good flow through the filter. The light fitting is very bright and will be sufficient to allow good plant growth.I set up my tank about a week ago and planted it with about a dozen various plants, using Tetra planting substrate topped off with a layer of fine natural river gravel. I keep the light on for approx nine to ten hours during the day, which is plugged into a timer switch. Already the plants have shown a bit of growth. I won't be adding any fish for about a month, to give the tank enough time to create a bio environment. I plan on keeping about twenty to thirty Neon or Cardinal Tetras, or both depending on what is available from my local aquatics shop. I am going to invest in a decent external canister filter , because the small internal filter that comes with the tank is too small and inadequate to create a decent bio balance..

Poor quality
This is one of the cheaper all-in-one starter tropical tank kits but I was still disappointed to find so many corners had been cut - and the whole thing feels, well, cheap. The actual glass on the tank seems too thin, the filter kept falling apart when I tried to attach it - or even touch it in situ - and the heater keeps popping off its suction pads and falling - and turning its dial in the process. I can live with the heater and flimsy tank, but decided the filter had to go - after studying the lazy instructions (the ones that try and give 'universal' instructions using pictures) for ages and it falling apart continuously through bad design - I finally got it in only to realise that it relies on filter media that is pretty expensive. It also makes a fairly annoying sound - quiet but annoying. I've replaced it with a Fluval U2 - SO much better - and instructions I can actually read, understand and follow. I do not recommend this tank, filter or heater.
