GratKitSilk Tri-Color PLA Filament，Coextrusion PLA Filament 1.75mm, -0.03mm, 1KG/Roll, Silk PLA Blue & Purple & Black

The media could not be loaded.  I swore I wouldn't upload a dragon as a demonstration, and yet here we are! I have uploaded a photo of a Cryptex so you can see how it looks in a more 'useful' print.The filament is literally two colours in one, with each colour always facing the same direction. As you can see on the dragon one side is always blue, and the other side is always red. If you have a flat top or bottom surface you will see the two colours on each print line - so ideally only use the filament for models where there aren't large flat top/bottom surfaces.Print-wise it's incredibly easy to print. The default 'Silk PLA' profile in my slicer for my printers (Bambu A1 Mini / P1S) worked perfectly out of the box. As with all silks, keep the volumetric speed down. For the common 0.2mm layer height, and 0.4mm nozzle, don't go above 60mm/s on perimeters (external walls) or the shine can be lost. Silk PLA also tends to have less layer adhesion, so I would keep the speed below 150 in general. For me, I've found this Silk PLA to be plenty strong with no adhesion problems at reasonable printing speeds.I wasn't sure what to expect, and I was very pleasantly surprised! I would wholeheartedly recommend this filament.

Probably the best tri colour I've used, Print quality is nice, and the effect comes out really well.Better that the others I've tried but I think it's mostly that the spools are wound really well.The colour effect is accurate and smooth (not grainy like some of the others)The sheen is great and almost metalic looking

It works great and love the tr-colour. Would buy again.

So far only printed a few small prints for my daughter but the black and purple are really nice together, it prints at standard temps and as of yet I haven't had a tangle or a clog so I'm happy for the price we paid for it and I'd have no problem buying again

OK, I have to admit. I was very reluctant to buy filament from a brand I had not heard of and was not expecting the best. However, I am blown away with the print quality, ease of printing and the vibrant colours given off by this roll! The resealable filament bag was a nice little added touch. Please keep that up guys, it really helps!! I will definitely be purchasing more....

This gratkit filament adhered perfectly to my PEI flex bed, and cam away cleanly with a great first layer. This was my first time using tri-coloured filament though, and I've got to say that I was disappointed with how it looked at the end - the colour is literally tinted differently on each side so there's trick of the light or chromatic effects, and the surface colour simply depends on how the filament is rotated as it goes in - which I have no real control over - so the colour just came out looking patchy with unpleasant visual-banding (colour, not textural). Maybe it looks better on shorter-height prints were the erratic colour is less obvious, but it ended up just looking like the 'toner was running low on a photocopier' sort of effect. The filament did snag at one point too, but it looks generally neatly wound - one of the better I've seen so I'm not certain why it had a snag.

Fantastic filament. I'd say one of the best I've had in a long time, This is overture silk on steriods.When it was originally printing i thought it was going to be just a standard color with a dull effect, I was so wrong it changes in the light and it shows all 3 colours and they're vibrant, there a no signs of brittle filament or uneven flows. I'll be buying this filament from now on. You also receive a little bag to keep your filament in.

The value of this filament for the price is great. About $20 for this roll and it is one of my favorite ones I've printed with this week. No clogs, great quality and adhesive right out of the box. They recommended to run it from the dryer but I just put it on my printer and it worked great. Very durable and the texture was perfect on the dragon I got to print with it.

I've recently had to repair my Prusa MK3S+, and after finally getting things sorted, I used this filament to calibrate and make some fun prints. They turned out great!The dual-colour works super well for models like the glitchy planter, I didn't expect it to look so good in person. Printed at 200 degrees and 60 bed temp, I never had any issues despite what I've heard about Silk PLA in general being a pain to work with. Great stuff, I'll certainly be buying more!

Prints good , looks amazing when its finished printing, i would recommend this to anyone just one thing after a few days maybe 4 i had to dry it, going to buy more ..

I've had a chance to try a couple of different filaments from Gratkit, and so far so good. A couple of kilos is still too anecdotal for me to make an overall judgement about their consistent quality, but we're off to a good start.Gratkit comes well packaged with the filament vacuum sealed and a pack of desiccant included. They also include a ziplock bag to store the reel after use if you only print occasionally. The reels are made of cardboard and turn well. I printed with this at my generic PLA settings of 210C/60C for the Ankermake, and 210C/55C for the Bambu P1P. It ran like a champ on both. No loading or extrusion issues and it adhered well to the PEI plates, releasing easily after cooling. Raft removal was also trivial.I will continue to use Gratkit filaments when they are a good deal, and if this trend continues, may put them on my short list of go-to filaments.
