I bought this for a bit more capacity than my 1.5 litre camelbak. It is light (I barely notice it on runs of 20 miles or so). The mesh straps are good, and it's easy to adjust while on the move. The hip pockets are awesome...I can get to snacks without taking it off.

Light, couple of side pockets for easy access to gels/bars during long runs, large enough drink supply, and another got storage area. Good fitting, good stability, padding, etc. Like it and have been using it for over six months happily.

The bag (OCTANE XCT 70 oz) has finally arrived today, so far so good. before purchasing, i had read some reviews regards to the water bladder leaking, which was the first thing i tested when the bag arrived, and i can say they have a great design easy to fill and seal (if you do it correctly and take your time!) they have included a handle with the bladder where the seal is to make it easier to handle. However when you are putting the full 2L bladder in the bag it can be a bit of fiddle but is easy enough. The only issue i really have is storage, its big enough to fit essentials such as a small tool box, small bike pump, medical kit, and a puncture repair kit with some room in the main compartment. But sometimes on those off days, i would need more space to carry some food, or a beer or two on a nice day and/ or long journeys.Also, they were nice enough to include some strap management so that you don't have straps flapping all over the place when going fast or its windy. The outer compartments are useful for little things like keys, gloves, glasses, etc. However with the waist compartments, i do wish they made it a little bigger as my Large IPhone 7 Plus can only just fit in it leaving a corner of the phone exposed. But its not a big deal, i can look for phone holder that can sit on my bike frame, and hopefully include small compartments for tools and hopefully a medical kit so i can free up some space in the bag.In conclusion, this bag should be great for cycling, with the main compartment big enough to hold essentials, water bladder thankfully doesn't leak yet, the outer compartments being convenient up-to the point. If you are like me, who cycles regularly, with the need to carry essentials in a small lightweight bag then this is a great choice. However if you need more space, i would recommend looking at the larger version of this bag (which is around (£100). But if you are also like me and don't want to spend that much money, you could purchase this bag and look for another small bag that would sleekly fit on the frame of your bike for the extra space.Hope this was useful for you :)

I’ve worn this on quite a few runs now and I love it. I’ve also used it during a marathon and once used to it, I barely noticed it on. Very handy for my phone, keys, wallet, gels and a light weight jacket (for after the race).The build quality it very good but you may need to cut the hydration pipe as it’s very long.

Great bladder! Works really well.The straps really prevent the weight from shifting around even when riding really techy downhill trails!It’s also not bulky at all which I really like.Easy to use and refill! A great investment!

Camelbak has been the best at what it does forever. I have a 16-/+ year old backpack/water bottle combo that is still going strong. I use it as my travel bag and for hiking. I got this exclusively for long runs and races. This product feels and appears to be of the same quality I expect from Camelbak. I look forward to having it for a long time!

Does not disappoint! Fits snuggly to my back with the correct locations for adjustments. The tube, when attached to the shoulder strap, does sit a little high and sometimes bounced into my cheek.Refill during a long ultra is easy with the large zipper. However, I have caught the bladder in the zipper a few times.None of the front pockets are big enough for the phones for the 2020s, so expect to have that in your back pocket.the reflective material leaves room to be desired, but I've always just affixed a blinking light to my bag anyways.

The water tank is very big, lots of compartments for storing keys, phone and a small snack. Would recommend. However, if you are looking for a big backpack, this is not for you!
