Smart, Efficient and Easy Heating Control
The Netatmo Smart Thermostat + 3 Connected Radiator Valves pack is a brilliant smart heating solution for anyone looking to improve energy efficiency and comfort at home. Installation was straightforward, and the step-by-step app guidance made setup surprisingly easy—even for a first-timer.Once connected, the app gives full control over individual rooms, allowing you to set different temperatures and schedules for each radiator. This is a game changer for saving energy—no more heating unused rooms! The interface is user-friendly, and remote access via smartphone is incredibly convenient. The design is sleek and modern, blending in well with home interiors. The smart features, like auto-adapt and open window detection, work reliably, and voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant is a nice bonus. One small drawback is that the valves can be a bit noisy when adjusting, especially at night—but it’s a minor issue compared to the overall benefits.Overall, this is a top-quality smart heating system that brings comfort, control, and energy savings. A worthwhile investment for any modern home.

Way better than hive
I recently bought hive thermostat and it caused me so much headache. It kept disconnecting. So i bought the Netatmo to replace it. I did this install myself and it was a little bit confusing with the wires. My hive thermostat didn't have a gray wire (it was cut off) so i thought this won't need it either, but the relay wasn't turning heating on when i put the black one only. I put the gray in the red slot and it finally worked. (Pic) I hope this helps someone else with an Ideal Logic combi boiler like mine.Massive feature for me is the hysteresis settings in the app. I didn't know until now that's what that's called. You can adjust the threshold how many degree points it turns the heating on. Hive was automatically only 0.1 and it kept making my heating turn on for like 2 mins at 10 min intervals. I hated that. So big plus to Netatmo app for that.Install was pretty straight forward, now i wonder why did i ever get an engineer for the hive one. The one hiccup was the wire as it wasn't marked on the boiler. But the rest was easy peasy. They have some old videos on youtube but your boiler might be different so it won't match 100%You don't need to use the app. You can connect the thermostat to the relay directly. The connection seems to be thermostat to relay through radio frequency. Then relay to router through wifi (if desired)But if you do get the app, connection to wifi was straight forward as well through the app. It uses 2.4ghz wifi but it was able to connect to my combined router wifi. It hasn't had any issues with connection so far.In the app you have schedules and you can set different temperatures for different settings. E.g. comfort, comfort+, night. You can change each one to your preferred temps. You can also choose to have just one temp all day round. I am always home so i need same temperatures all day. But it is nice to be able to easily put it to automatically lower a bit at night. I attached some pics of the app schedules. (Don't judge my high temps, I have lizard blood)There's a boost option in the app which is nice, you can choose temp and time but it was a little bit unintuitive. There's other smart self learning settings and apparently some PID heating algorithm that will be allowed to be enabled later on after it learns your system. But i don't need any of that. I didn't want it to try to be smart, i just wanted more control. Schedules, boost, hysteresis settings. All i needed. For the thermostat itself, it wasn't intuitive that you just press the sides to increase/decrease temps. And the small numbers are hard to read at a glance. This is due to the minimalistic style. I have pretty good eye sight but i struggle to see if its 21.5 or 21.8.I regret not buying this during black friday sales. It would have saved me a lot of money.I read the general lifetime for this is 2 years. I will see if it's true in 2 years time. If it is only 2 years I'm still happy with it.

Great smart thermostat
Was a straight swap for my battery powered but wired thermostat that originally came with the installation.Easy to setup and install and works well. This is second thermostat I've bought. The first lasted almost exactly 8 years before the e-ink display started to fail.Looked at others, but ultimately stuck with the netatmo. There is a public API that can be used via home-assistant to connect the thermostat properly into your smart home.

Easy to install and use
I am not a plumber/electrician but able to understand a YouTube demo video. I was able to install the relay and thermostat (replacing a wireless thermostat on Worcester boiler) easily and it took me about 15 mins. Getting the app set up and kit identified on it took a bit longer and kept having to retry, finally using my iPad rather than my phone it all worked, but that took about 45 mins in the end. This may have something to do with my iPad having latest iOS installed, but not sure. The app is now working on all devices and easy UX to manage controlling heating. I used to have a Cosy device in my last place and this is far easier and simpler to use. Also getting it at Black Friday prices was certainly a bonus.

Unreliable product and zero customer support.
Unreliable product with zero customer support.I bought one kit a couple of years ago through an electrician who installed it. It was fine and I was very pleased until it stopped connecting with the app. As I'd changed my phone. I thought that was the problem, and when I bought a new top range Samsung phone I reckoned it was a netatmo issue, so I bought a new netatmo kit.Now I can't connect the app to the netatmo relay. Tried everything suggested on the customer forum to no avail. The thermostat connects to the relay, and the relay connects to my wifi router, but the app won't connect and says relay not reachable. There is no customer service, No way of contacting them and they don't reply on the customer forum. So definitely do not buy this product. And when I contacted the parent company Legrand they replied that they no longer handle customer queries about netatmo.Very disappointing as I had been pleased.... but not now. Rubbish customer service.
