Cheap, light and well made. Purchased the 31.7mm for my Cube Attain (2021) road bike. Fits perfectly and very easily in a couple of minutes. My only feedback would be that you can’t get a cross/flat head screwdriver on the end because of the space available. I luckily had a small ratchet that accepts interchangeable screwdriver bits. A normal screwdriver would not go on the end. A hex head bolt would be better and allow you to use a small allen key instead.

No more dropped chains. Does it's job and it's cheap. Instruction not at all clear. I positioned mine so that you can insert a business card between the fang and the chain when the chain is located on the inner chainring. You also need to ensure that the fang is high enough to prevent the chain being shoved over the top of it when the derailleur moves the chain to the small ring. However it can't be too high as to allow the chain to slip underneath it when changing to he small ring. Read this again when you try to install it. Hopefully these instructions will make sense then.

Works perfect, it's made of that nice hard plastic so it should last a while. I've had my bike 6 years and always hated using my small chainring because it would always drop my chain, unless i went slow with no pressure while changing down. But now i can drop down to that small ring easy while mashing down, hill climbs are so much better without chains coming off. These should be on bikes as standard it's just a simple little gadget and saves so much trouble with 2 ring setups.

Short chainstays, narrow chains and wide ring ratios make for easily dropped chains. These things are cheap, easy to fit and really work. Not just a dog fang but the dog's blks.

Not worth the risk of a chain dropping when the cost is so low. Since fitting one many years agao, I hav ent had any problems at at all with a bad down change!

It might only be a small bit of plastic but especially with carbon and high end bikes it gives me that peace of mind that if the chain does slip off that it will get put straight back on. Thank fully it has not been called upon yet but nice to know its there if required.

I ride off road most of the time, often on very bumpy and stony tracks on my cross bike (no suspension). Since I fitted this device I have not had my chain come off once. May be a coincidence, I don't know, but I will certainly carry on using it.

I had high hopes for this but it is not compatible with a Voodoo Bizango. When fitted it sits more than a half inch higher than the small cog even though it's at the bottom of the tube. Probably made to suit a road bike :(
