Shaft diameter 3 mm, Flat 8 x 8 x 1.5 mm approx. So end of flat 9.5 mm from centre line of shaft.

IS it good for resetting the panic alaram?

Checked out 2 panic alarm buttons in two properties. Both had the same size key bit but one had no shank protruding after the bit and the other had 6mm protruding. The fire alarm reset key has 2mm protruding. I would say you can may be able to use it if you push it all the way in on the first type and part of the way in on the second type. They are not exactly the same as the fire alarm reset key though.

Looks similar to original installation box (5 years ago) so the keys were too big. Ordered earlier and were not sent, so cancelled and re ordered and they arrived very quickly. But the Key only fits the modern 2019 box.
