This battery works perfectly, and actually holds its charge (unlike a lot of other "high-capacity" PSP batteries). After a few weeks of daily play and numerous charge cycles, this thing still works and plays like OEM. The included charge cable, on the other hand, is more of a mixed bag. It doesn't perfectly match OEM fit, and while it technically works with my PSP1000 unit, my other PSP2000 doesn't recognize it at all. Still, the price is easily worth it for the battery alone; think of the cable as a free bonus item, and you won't be disappointed.

battery works fine but doesn't seem to fit my psp 1001 it works in some position but once it moves from there it wont work anymore so I'm guessing its not the right fit or wasn't made right.EDIT: Seller contacted me and fixed the issue by sending me a replacement.

My original battery in my PSP-1000 finally went out (almost with a bang ! haha) so it was time to replace the battery. Great product. Fits great and came with an accessory cable which I was not aware of until now. So great bonus ! Battery life is pretty good compared to what I remember from the original battery. I highly recommend.
