4VV Medium Intense Violet Permanent Hair Color Dye Kit (Color, Developer, Barrier Cream, Gloves, Cleaning Wipe, Shampoo and Conditioner) Radiant Color that Lasts up to 8 Weeks

I purchased this dye over others because it advertised it came with a shampoo and conditioner pack. I figured it's a little more pricey but if I like the shampoo/conditioner it'll be worth it being more than it's competitors. I'm in need of a new shampoo so if I like the sample I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Well there was no shampoo or conditioner in the box. The packaging was nice but the missing items were a bummer. Now to the actual product. The dye had a pleasant smell, unlike other box dyes or even beauty store ones. The gloves and protective lotion were quality. My biggest issue was it wasn't even enough dye to cover half my head. I have shoulder length hair, it is on the thicker side but I feel the amount given wouldn't even cover my whole head if I had chin length. I picked 4vv and the purple is gorgeous. Probably the best permanent purple I've found. Its vibrant and shines. My hair actually felt better after dying it than before. So there are pros and cons to this dye. Because of the missing items and little product I took off 2 stars. If they advertised better and I was aware I'd need more than 1 box it wouldve been a 5 star from me.
