It is 1mm thick so not too bendy. This was used as a cutting guide for a knife to cut cork strips down their length and found to work well. It will be useful as a cutting guide for a knife in other applications. I did not need to use it as a ruler and a plain metal bar would have done the job but the measurements printed on it will be useful when using it as a normal ruler. Thickness 0.81mm Length 175mm Width 19.75mm/ The number are lasered into the ruler. So you can feel a very slight indentation where the numbers are. On the back is conversion tables for inches to mm. On the front is inches and mm. all in all a very its a brilliant ruler. I would recommend. Quality good but not really been tested.hope this helps n macg. **Q: Is this ruler mid ii certified?** A: I have the same brand metal ruler but the MT66 and there are no marking anywhere on it or the packaging to say it is “ mid ii “ certified. Therefore I would assume mine (66) is not.
