Purchased to place in a standard pot so the tree will not become root bound and require repotting in a few years. The soft sides will conform to your pots shape. It is an investment in your potted plant that will help the plant and you. The price is affordable.

I ordered tan pots, I received black ones. pretty bummed

I need to jam a bunch of these in limited / irregular space and it worked great. They do form a solid cylinder when you fill them out but also allow you to work around obstacles that may be around. Very deep too so if you don't plan to put a tree in it, you may have too much depth. These could handle longest carrots for example.

Great planter. I have an avocado tree in my 30 gallon planter and it's doing fantastic. I would love to give a 5 star review, but I'm hesitant. The only thing I don't like is that there's no handles. I understand that 30 gal of dirt is heavy and wouldn't be easy to move, but webbing handles that cover the bottom would be a perfect addition to help with fine tuning the plant's/planter's position. I suggest getting a sturdy wheeled base if you get this for a plant that needs to be moved or rotated. You will not regret it.

These are easily the best pots I've purchased. I didn't get the handles because I figured 30 gallons of garden soil would still be too heavy to move (especially wet) and I don't foresee myself moving them far anyway; Dragging them into position doesn't require handles. I won't go into all of the reasons why this is great because other reviews establish that. I just want to express my satisfaction in purchasing these and highly recommend them.
