These are thin, floppy, and don’t have a lip around the edge to prevent spills. There is an indentation, but purely decorative.Very disappointed. Certainly not worth the money, even though they weren’t expensive!

Can also be used as pot holders for more intricate maneuvers I've found.

Great mats. Replaced some cork ones I had. Easy to clear. Best under tap than wiping down. The raised rim makes ‘under the tap’ cleaning best. Would recommend these. Would buy again.
