Biddeford Blankets Polyester Electric Heated Mattress Pad with Analog Controller, Queen, White

Our home is older and consequently the one guest bedroom stays chilly even when the rest of the house is warm. tried using an oil filled radiator first but our electrical usage went up more than we expected. tried to use the electric throw last year for guests, it worked on all counts just too small for more than one person. so we decided to do it right this winter and just get a heated pad so everyone would stay warm and our electric bill wouldn't take a hit so to speak. the pad looks and feels to be good quality. i really like how the electrical connector on the pad is located on the vertical portion of the pad and on the inside. that way feet won't ever hit or touch anything other than fabric. the heat controller dial has plenty of chord so you can set it anywhere around the perimeter of your bed. it fits well and in fact the one bed ours is on is an adjustable often standard sized bedding doesn't fit well but this pad does. the range of settings for heat means you can always find that sweet spot. best of all no need to run an extra electric heating source to warm the entire spare room and its contents when all we wanted was to keep our guests warm in bed. economical, energy efficient and a great option to have. which is why one wasn't enough so we picked up another but for our room.

I love this! The choice of heat settings is great and I love the dual controls. I have Fibromyalgia so the heat helps with swelling and pain. You cant really feel the wires when you lay on it, something that I was very worried about . Two negative things: I do have to keep pulling the cover back over or up as it dosent stay 100% secure to the mattress. Also, there is more heat directed to the bottom/foot of the cover where I wish it were more even or higher up but that is just because I need more heat on my back. I solved the problem by putting it on the other way around.This is all around a wonderful product. I'm nice and toasty while laying on it and the price was great.I did NOT receive any discount or free item for my review so it is 100% truth.

We bought this for our oversized queen sized bed (it's a Sleep Number extended queen). The pad fits quite snuggly on our bed, but I expect it would fit any regular queen size bed just fine. If you have an extended size queen bed - you might want to try a King mattress pad.I LIKE that there are two separate controls plugged into to separate connections at the foot of the mattress - so each side has their own extension cord as well as their own control.We have had other heated mattress pads in the best - probably a little better quality - but we wanted to spend less this time. We are perfectly satisfied.The sides are that weird paper/Tyvek type material. and are not particularly stretchy, but they aren't "noisy" like some "paper" bedding I have had in the past.Overall we would definitely buy this product again. We are so happy to have it - even here in the San Francisco Bay Area.Update - 3/28/17 -We washed our pad a few times and it stopped working. We contacted Biddeford and they sent us a return label. We had to pay the shipping, but for $15 (shipping) we got a new one.Customer service was great. New one works great. =)

This mattress warmer was the cat’s pajamas when it first came out. It’s still a good product and saves lots of miney not needing to heat a bedroom. However, I now prefer a throw that heats faster.I thought my first one went out, but when the next ine did the same thing, I discovered that all I needed to do was smooth out a wrinkle and it continued to work fine for years.

Review of- Biddeford 5904-908221-100 Electric Heated Mattress Pad, White, Cal KingI have a California King sized bed. I bought a Biddeford California King sized electric mattress pad, and to put it simply- it doesn’t fit. It doesn’t come close to fitting when installed as directed, and according to the instructions there’s only one approved orientation, with the plugs at the foot of the bed. The platform and mattress, made by different manufacturers, fit like a hand in glove, as they should because the size was standardized more than half a century ago. But if you try to shoehorn the mattress into the electric mattress pad’s skirt it’s so tight that it distorts the mattress to the point where it no longer fits the platform and the pad won’t lay flat. This makes it utterly unusable.Even worse, the material the skirt is made from is so flimsy that while trying to stretch it over the mattress I ran my finger through it accidentally, and without much effort. This makes it far weaker than any cloth I’ve ever come across, at least new cloth. So not only is it the wrong size, the materials chosen are also sub-par. You’d think if they were going to go super cheap on the material they would at least use enough.In short, either by design, or multiple failures of quality control, Biddeford is selling a product that can’t be used for its intended purpose.

Dont buy it, Not worth buying online from Cart2india seller specially , the material is very thin .

it is comfortable with us and the delivery is so fast. when i get this, i figure out that the quality is not good. to be honest, i prefer like it. at least, it is warm when turn it on.

the only problem i have with it is you cant feel the heat for a very long time, but once it is heated it works well

The pad is shape like a bed sheet,it clings to the mattress,i did not expect this as per their catalog picture.Setting it on no 1 setting,keeps the mattress not cold,(its in the basement)no more back pain in the morning.My first blanket lasted for 40 years,the second one ,not so much 3 years (sunbean)Hope this one last forever,I like it,i recommend it.Bye,Lucien
