Neil Allyn Men's Classic

Bought these with a white dinner jacket for my son's FL wedding instead of renting (better quality & saved money). These are fairly lightweight with a perfectly conceived adjustable waist internal mechanism without exterior buckles or clips which tend to cheapen the look. Subtle formal satin stripe on the outside of the legs for that formal touch. These and my white dinner jacket brought compliments and comparisons to 007!A well-made pant at an attractive price produced a real bargain, especially versus expensive rentals.

These come with an unfinished hem, which I understand is quite standard in formal pants of many kinds, so they do need to be hemmed. There is enough length to these pants for the bottom to touch the floor and the waist to be even with my shoulders. They look lovely, and that adjustable waistband really does mean that several people with the same length legs could pass these around. The adjustment happens by way of a nicely covered 2" wide elastic band, and will hold the pants where they are supposed to be. We were a little worried that they wouldn't stay where they were supposed to and added suspenders, as this was for prom and teenagers are animals. (c: However, we tested the waistband quite vigorously (I made them jump up and down without the suspenders), and I really think the suspenders were likely me going overboard. We were very happy with these pants, and they look very nice.

I made my purchase via Amazon from EZ Tuxedo. Being a musician I had a concern about receiving my pants in time for my up coming gig. I called EZ Tuxedo direct spoke with a gentlemen by the name of Mike. He was more thank accommodating. I was on a break during a gig when I called so I didn't have a lot to time . Mike asked for my ordered # and assured me I would have my product on time..... The NEXT day the pants were delivered. I called that OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE !

I wear a tux about once a year. Evidently I have grown some since the last time, and needed new pants. I ordered these because they looked great in the description and I could get them quickly. The advertised comfort fit with an expandable waist was a plus. I ordered a sized 40 which all my dress slacks are. I think they are more like a 39 inch waist. They have no belt loops and no buttons for dress suspenders. The material is quite thin, but adequate, and the sewing looks adequate also. They come un hemmed so you will need to do some sewing or get them professional altered. They're fine for what I was looking for, but if you do black tie a lot, you might want to spend a little more.

These pants fit GREAT and seem to be fairly robust in their manufacturing. I will use these for an event in February and expect them to preform well. A good buy I believe!

I like them they are for a formal event

I'm an avid ballroom and Latin dancer. I already own an expensive tuxedo ($700) that I purchased locally a few years ago and it has done me well. But I'm going to a multi-day dance event in a week and didn't want to wear the same dang pants for two or three days. So I decided to take a chance on these.For the price, I expected a nasty looking rag, but these are some darn nice pants! The "elastic waist" isn't elastic like pajamas, its the invisible expanding waist like you see in much more expensive pants, hidden over your hips on both sides. As others have commented these aren't as black as wool tuxedo pants, but its dark enough that I doubt anyone is going to notice the difference between these pants and my wool tuxedo jacket. If they did, they would notice its about the same black as my tuxedo vest from Men's Wearhouse.Since I just got them I can't tell you anything about their long range durability, but they feel good and drape well. I wish they had buttons for suspenders, but I have more than one pair of suspenders so I'll either sew in some buttons or just use the clip on ones. I like these pants so much I'm thinking about ordering another pair. They do look good.

Unlike other tux pants purchased on Amazon, these actually fit the size ordered. I like that the waist uses elastic instead of the clasp and plastic rail, as those tend to break. Worked great.
