I wish I had these twenty years ago, so my mother's and grandmother's recipes would not be covered in finger prints and food stains. I know that shows I loved using them, but they got so worn that I could not read several of them. I copied them onto new cards, and put the still usable, and the copied ones, into these sleeves. Now my daughter can have them, and they will last a lifetime. I guess you could gift these, but not without cards and a box.

I am using this to protect old recipe cards and they look and are holding up great. I didn’t have any issues with tearing and the value was good. Very clear plastic and packaged well when shipped.

I absolutely love these for my recipe cards. They keep them from getting soiled as I bake. Of course they are not waterproof but an accidental spill can be wiped up. I would say for me at least they are not an option as I tend to make messes sometimes. If you want to keep you cards looking new, this is a great product for you. I highly recommend.
