I am using these clips to help fasten my fence tension wire together. I like that they fit perfectly into my hog pliers and were easy to crimp into the fence. They are a little bit smaller than the original rings, but they seems to be holding very well.

Most hog rings I've used before are made from a round stock, and they are really strong and keep their shape after pinching into place. These are made from a flat stock, and thus are not as strong and are prone to opening back up with some force applied to them. So I guess it depends on your application whether these are for you or not. If you plan on using them in a place that will get a lot of force exerted on them, then look elsewhere.

These hood rings are very versatile but we use them mainly for small animal fences (chickens, rabbits, pigeons). They are lightweight and easy to bend with a standard hog ring pliers. Good price for 600 pieces.

I thought these ring’s would help with the fence outside, but they are too small unfortunately.

These are much lighter weight hog rings than some.

If you require this size hog ring for a project then these will work, nothing to complain about from me.
