Poundex PDEX- Sofas, Light Blue

The couch was delivered in 3 large boxes, 2 of them fridge-sized. The fridge sized boxes held the couch itself. The cushions and parts were inside of the couch, as it is hollow. It is basically pallet wood and criss-crossed elastic to hold you up. I am 200ish lb and my bf is 300lb+ and it seems to be fine. It is pretty sturdy. You have to screw in the back parts of them, where you lean onto it, through the bottom of the couch. This part is kind of hard if you do not have another person helping you to hold the back part of the couch against the bottom to allow you to screw it together. It took about a couple hours to set up because it was a whole thing to get it out of the boxes and screw them together. It was harder than expected and it would have taken me way longer to do by myself since the boxes (sections of the couch) were more than 6 feet tall. A thing I noticed before I bought the couch was that it was three hundred but the price went up? I bought it for five hundred something and as of right now it is almost nine hundred. It is fine for five hundred for a self-assembly couch. The color is lovely and it is light but sturdy. I would just go to a store if I was going to get it for nine though.

This couch was delivered 11/28/20. For the price, we were very happy with the comfort and ease of assembling.However, about 3-4 months after owning the sectional, the smaller couches middle support broke when I sat on it. I'm only around 170lbs, the problem is there is no support in the middle, like the legs they have on the end.I'm hoping to somehow have this corrected by the company, but I have yet to receive a response from Poundex. The quality of the support materials seem to be poor and they were unresponsive when I tried multiple times to have the problem corrected.Back in November/December I would have recommended this couch to everyone, but unfortunately it just didn't last.Hopefully the see this review and actually make this right.- RobUpdate 5/24/21:Still haven't received any response from Poundex, but it should be easily fixable with a 2x2 that runs behind the bottom section to add more support, and then another 2x2 under the couch towards the too middle that connects to the new 2x2 running along the bottom. Hopefully this is sufficient, but it did make me think twice about purchasing large furniture off Amazon for traditionally lower prices.

Love this couch! The color is a cornflower blue (as pictured) and for me, fits my smaller space perfectly. The cushions arrive a little squished from shipping, but fill back to normal a few days after. Also, the company dropped it off over a week early (yay!) and left it close enough to my deck that I could drag the boxes in. It was easy to assemble, but I also had two people help me and I’m not sure I could have done it alone. The couch assembly requires it to be on its side to attach some the pieces and this would be difficult to do solo. Pretty comfy so far, seems to be wearing ok for daily use. The cushions Velcro and parts of the cushion covers can come undone to be washed (if needed). Best part: I have a dog who’s a couch lover and hair removal is easy!! Finally!!! The only down side so far: one piece didn’t quite assemble evenly (see second picture), but I’m not a perfectionist so it doesn’t bother me.

PLEASE PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES UNDER THE REVIEWS, ...NOT THE PICTURE FIR THE LISTING. It is very misleading on the light blue color. The light blue is more like a light 80s denim color NOT the beautiful turquoise in the picture. And that's ok if you like cornflower. I do not. The couch seemed well made although the threaded connection for one of the bolts was damaged. I imagine they would've sent me another chaise, but all-in-all a lot of disappointment *only bc of the misleading picture. Amazon, fix the resolution or something. However, thank you for making it right and taking my return. Off to couch shop once again! My pic is just of the bottom piece to demonstrate the color and my cat hiding to show the couch is not that high off the ground either. But it's heavy!

This was the first couch I ever out together so was nervous before it arrived but within an hour or receiving it my wife and I were able to set it up thanks to the clear instructions. At this price this is the best sofa chaise available out there (after window shopping at 4-5 stores I can confirm this). The best part is if you don't wish to connect the sofa and chaise parts they can be two pieces of furniture along with the ottoman. Only one regret, my assembly kit missed one nut and hence one of the connections is a little wonky (unless I buy one from the market and set it up)

The media could not be loaded. Great price and holds up! I’ve had it for 3 months and I have no complaints. The seat cushions have zippers so you can take them off and wash them which is nice! Holds up with multiple large adults on it!Update 8/31/23It broke 3 weeks ago, before I even paid it off through AFFIRM. Right in the middle. Just snapped without force being put on it. It Is too expensive of a buy to break so easily. I wish I never bought it. Changing from 4 stars to 1 star due to poor quality. Also, a foot on the ottoman is cracked and it rarely gets used.

We have that sofa almost 3 months now and I can say it wasn't worth the money we paid for it.We used it daily and in the beginning we thought It's comfortable and nice to look at.That has changed sadly.It has dents and hollows where we sit and its moving around a lot even standing on carpet.It became very uncomfortable to sit or lie on.If you just use it for a second living room or another where you dont use it much I guess it's okay to buy it but its definitely not made to be used daily.I would not recommend to buy it if you dont want to waste your money.We need to buy a need sofa and that's soon.
