I’ve had a fair number of moxa treatments by acupuncturists. Moxa tends to be smoky and smelly. This moxa is, true to form, smoky and smelly. It will smell up your clothes, your hair, and your house. You will smell like you work in a weed dispensary. It’s just how moxa is. I’ve tried smokeless moxa, and it doesn’t work all that great, but it does exist.For me, the patches are the best part of this set. They work great, they stay on, the odor is faint and pleasant. Did I mention they work great? They do.Back to the moxa: be careful with it. I have a second degree burn from using this set. Even in the burner and cloth pouch, it gets very hot over a period of time. Don’t leave it on too long.My set did not come with the acupuncture chart, but I don’t need that for anything.Good value for such a complete set. The patches by themselves are worth the price of the entire set.

I really like these although I havent tried any other ones. The copper burner box and cloth cover ("Monkey Bun", as my wife and I call it) is quite handy and easy to rinse and dry for the next day. i can put plenty HOT moxa heat to anywhere on my body with this. I showed it to my sinpai simpo Japanese acupuncturist (50 yrs in practice) and she said, "Good! Use this every day on your belly area." I use in many other places, neck, upper back, lumbar, legs, elbow crease, top of head, just about any vertebrae. Soft and looks nice. Strap is fine. But its only a few weeks old. Inner tin is getting coated with a dark coating of soot. I was hand washing it almost every day for the first week (Im pretty sure its washer safe, I just do a quick wash in the shower bucket and hang it. its plenty dry by morning. I thought the tin and the cloth were going to get stinky and stale such that i'd have to wash it every day or two. But ive skipped 4 or 5 days now and its not bothering myself or my wife. i do use it every day, so i imagine that if it wasnt being used daily, it would smell different. I was able to remove some of the soot after the first couple of days. But, as often as I use it and as cheap as it is, I choose to let it go. Its fine. Moxa soot. It may get too much at some point and i may scrub it, get a solution (doubtful) or buy another if and when it become necessary. its a thin copper container as it needs to be. The top air vents are hard to open and close now, but i have it where i want it and i dont need to change it.. cheap enough to replace after a while. Opening the tin itself is still easy. inserting the moxa roll ("piggies" as my wife and I call them), is easy and removing the ash is also easy to do over the trash can. Love this thing to get good heat to so many accu points.

Liked this brand moxa sticks very much. Usually the burning last about an hour and release the soft warm.

I first bought this for my wife and my wife loved it . She recommended it to her mother. So I bought it for my mother in law again. The burner is well made and smoke is spread evenly from the burner. The burner cover is good quality and it stays tightly wherever my wife put it. The stick is especially excellent much better than I bought from Taobao which is much cheaper but lower quality. The smell is strong and rich, very creamy. It does not irritate my nose or eyes at all. I feel very calm down when I smell it. After I burn it with a lighter, it burns slowly and spread heat evenly from inside of the burner. One stick burns over thirty minutes which is long enough for my wife's leg pain. Overall, it is a great product and it is worth the money.

Very good and easy to use, the price is very reasonable too

Super easy to use, very intuitive. I did not find instructions on the box but there are here on the product photos of Amazon. Strong smell but I never used one before so nothing to compare it to; I had to go in my porch to avoid making the house smell, and I will have to take a shower after the use. The gradual heat feels very good in my neck (have been dealing with chronic neck issues for years). I hope it will help.

Bought this moxibustion and used two. Found this quality is very poor, and even doubted whether there is real mugwort in it. It smells really bad like something burnt. It feels not healthy. Not recommended to buy

Quality is just okay not too great

I had did moxibustion for 2 years in China before I came Canada.My neck starts to hurt again, because of long time work. I bought it immediately when I found it in Amazon and got the parcel on the second day.Moxibustion can relieve pains in our neck, shoulder and back after a long time sitting before the desk, especially engineers.I like moxibustion, good for our health! Strongly recommend it to engineers.

The copper burner box and the blue bag are good, but the moxa sticks are not in good quality. It's smoky and doesn't have the nice fragrance smell from the good quality of moxa stick.
