Hyperflex Wetsuits Men's 5mm Access Split Toe Boot

Come October in Maine, I realized I needed booties ASAP. These were reasonably priced, the thickness I wanted, and fast shipping, so I bought them. Still wearing them when I surf (late November), but my feet now get cold after 1.5 hours in the water, especially my big toe which is separate in this bootie. I wish I had gotten the round toe style now. Also, like other reviews before mine, I agree they are very difficult to get on and off, especially when fingers are numb. This said, I knew what I was buying because I read the reviews, and they have lived up to my expectations.

Great boot! The sole has a really good grip, and there's a rubber pad on top of the shoe so it's appropriate for diving and surfing.Solid construction, and the split toe really adds a level of comfort.The only drawback of this boot is that it doesn't have a zipper and gets really hard to put on or take off when wet.I also haven't figured a way to get it dry on the inside after using it (I coudn't flip it inside-out).It's a good product, but my next boot is going to have split-toe and a zipper.

These dive shoes are pretty cool. They work as advertised. If you are wearing them outside of the water in a sunny location your feet will feel like they are on fire, so best if used in a moderate to cool location.They could use a little more padding on the bottoms for walking around, but lets face it, they are for the water!Also they do run a little small, so if you wear a 9 in boots get a size ten in these or else your big toe will be a little scrunched.

This placed an uncomfortable pressure between my toes. The neoprene at the ankle cuff began to crack and split after a short while. The soul which was very thin and soft is barely enough to walk across a parking lot without wearing out.

Used these yesterday for the first time. Kept my feet toasty on the Oregon coast. Some reviews mentioned they were hard to get on and off. I had no problems. Just hook your thumb in and pull off the heal. The toe separater thingy is a little strange, but my last pair didn't have it so I'm not used to it. Great deal for the money. I got a size 12, but wear 13's usually, and they fit perfect. I would recommend sizing down.

Very uncomfortable booties if you want to surf in these - the sole is just too thick to feel the board. Nearly impossible to get these on because the material is so thick, and the toe split is painful. These will keep your feet warm however if you manage to get them on. Would work better for scuba diving rather than surfing. I returned these back to Amazon, and bought another pair from a local store that cost a bit more, but fit a lot better.

I purchased these booties in October of 2011. I have used them on average once a month since then for Surfing around the Bay Area. Within a year and a half, the neoprene has completely fallen apart. I rinse these out with fresh water after every use along with my wetsuit (Oneil Heat), which I have owned for over 5 years. The wetsuit, which is significantly older, and has seen the exact same treatment as the booties is still in much better condition after five years of usage.I have contacted Hyperflex twice via email, to see if they could fix the problem with no responses.These booties are garbage. I regret having purchased a second pair for a friend after the poor durability of the first pair, and not having Hyperflex stand by their products.

I am so happy I chose these boots. They are way more flexible than I thought they would be, fit great, and were a good deal. After reading a ton of reviews on a few different booties I picked these and am quite satisfied. The big toe part seems a bit snug but im sure that'll work itself out. unlike many of the reviews for these I had no problem getting them on although I am a chick so it might be just a problems the guys face. Love these.
