Usually when I buy something like this at Amazon, I start by buying the one that is so cheaply made as to be useless, which means that I have to return it and buy the better one that I should have bought in the first place. This time, I got it right the first time, and saved myself (and Amazon) from a hassle. These cables are excellent in every way.With DC power, there is rarely a scenario where you do not have to check the polarity to make certain that it is correct for what you are doing. You need to have a small DVM or DC polarity checker of some sort.When you check the polarity at the coaxial connector, you need to check it at a male connector, for the simple reason that there is no way to make reliable probe contact at the female end. This is one reason why you might need to own a couple of these coaxial-to-coaxial adapters, i.e., so that you will have a male connector where you can safely and reliably check the polarity.

I needed these to power my HEQ5 mount and AsiAir Pro. The plugs fit perfectly and provide DC current as they should.

I checked the continuity of these cables and found no issues. They have relatively thick insulation and strain relief and are overall well-built. Unfortunately, I needed male-to-female extensions, so be sure you realize both connector ends are male on this set!

I needed a cable to connect a portable antenna measuring device to a 12 volt battery pack. They both come with these 5.5mm mating connectors. The wire is very flexible and the molded connectors will provide strain relief for the wire. Its worked out well for my application.

The cable connectors are good, I always prefer the model with some kind of spring-loaded mechanism for the center pin rather than a barrel. The moulding is above average and the strain relief too.The cable is good, marked as 18AWG, and FT1 (fire transmission rating). The size is above average.

This is exactly what I needed to extend the power supply for my led lights. The cable is high quality and durable. The right angle connector fits perfectly in the tight space. I’m pretty satisfied with this and would recommend it.
