My trailer hardly even had any 12-volt outlets when I got it. I fixed that, and then as the years went by I found that I was using almost all of them exclusively to power USB adapters so I'm now in the process of installing dedicated USB PD outlets everywhere.These outlets have been performing well for me. I hooked up my drone battery charger to give one a workout and couldn't feel any temperature rise at all. Installation is easy - it just needs a single small hole for the wires and two screws to hold it in. My other outlets have required larger holes to be cut with a paddle bit.It's definitely easiest to install these close to an existing 12 volt connection. I put one next to a 12 volt outlet and one next to a light, and in both cases the wires that came with the outlet were long enough to reach the existing wiring.The units I received aren't quite as slick looking as the main photo in the listing and they don't have the USB logo. In a high-end install I'd probably go for something physically sturdier but these seem perfectly adequate for my needs.

I mounted one on my ninja 1000 abs on the dash by setting up fused leads to my battery and soldering it directly to those Leeds then sharing wrapping the cords then bundle for the wires. Should be completely waterproof. I like the on/ off switch so it doesn’t drain when not in use. I’ve charged my go pro and a battery bank a few times and it works well. The cover for the mount fits flush and is a nice touch to keep it looking clean and clips on without worry it would vibrate loose. The flip down cover keeps moisture out but it’s mounted out of the elements in most scenarios and hasn’t got wet. Great that is has both usb an and c giving plenty of options to run power to a gos or charge a phone. Great investment of time to set up.

I got these to add USB ports in strategic locations in my DIY campervan build. They work great and look nice and super easy to install.

This is a well-crafted item, it is easy to install, and it comes with its own mounting screws. No cutting is required – only three small holes. It is not designed to be embedded flush with the wall but to be mounted on its surface. The most difficult part of the installation was to find power. I simply replaced the 12V cigarette lighter socket with this dual port switch. The wiring was fairly straight-forward, and it was easy to screw the screws directly into the wall.My little camper already has one USB-A charging adapter, but it is located in an awkward place. With this kit, I have the option for two new locations. I installed only the one of them, but the kit comes with two sets, each of them with a USB-C and USB-A port which light up with a blue LED light when the switch is on, making them particularly handy for overnight charging.I am impressed with these adapters, and they are very reasonably priced. If you need a few more USB ports for charging, you will not be disappointed with these adapters!

I got these to install in my enclosed motorcycle trailer. I have them connected and they work great. I haven’t fashioned the mounting plate yet but that’s on me. They’re simple and straightforward. Easy to install and work perfectly. The look pretty good. I have two and only need one in the trailer. I wouldn’t cut one into the dash of my car but I might install the one in my old truck.I’m pleased with this product.

These compact little chargers are a great way to add additional charging locations to areas that vehicle manufacturers don't normally install them. I am adding these to the rear area of my work van and into the work trailer. Other than running the wiring, they are easy to install. The cover helps keep dust and occasional moisture out. The power switch is a must so that I don't have a constant power drain when not in use and the bright LED tells me when the power is switched on. They are a quality item and perform well.
