I read many of the reviews on this product noting those which pointed out the product arriving cracked, holders were hard to open, etc. In my experience, holders arrived very quickly, were undamaged and easy to use. For folks finding them hard to open, there is a cut-out just for this purpose, so mine were very easy to open (see pic). I was hoping they fit Morgan, Peace and IKE silver dollars without the gasket but this was not the case. I had to use the very outer ring to make a snug fit. Best method is to put the coin in the base, then add the ring and then the cap. It all took me about 10 seconds per coin using this methodology. The half dollars were a bit of a challenge with one ring being too loose and the next one too snug. Since I bought them for the silver dollars, this was not a big deal to me. I hope you enjoy preserving your investment as much as I have. One downside of this type of holders versus the "flips" is there is nowhere to write the date or grade. I may have to add labels to each coin to overcome this.

The capsules were just what we needed to put our challenge coin from my Veterans post into. when, unfortunately, one of our members passes away, we make up a challenge coin and put it in an unused US mint silver dollar case, and present it to the family at the funeral.

Beautifully made. However, with the coin I was given, it didnt fit. I will have to get a bigger size. But being a crafter, I will still be able to use these. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Lots of Sand, shells, and beach. I will be putting sand, shells, etc inside and make them into pendants. SO those customers can collect their own sand, etc for their memory.

I bought two Maria Theresa Thalers from a dealer that shipped them in bags, so I bought this. One was more worn and fit almost perfectly, but the less worn one got caught in the edge writing and won’t fit.When I bought it I thought the plastic cases would be different sizes, but they’re all 40mm and are shipped with foam spacers. Not what I was expecting, but the spacers are fine by me anyways.

These covers fit anything from the smallest coin to larger than a half dollar. I love the fillers that come with the plastic covers and are adjustable from a dime (or smaller) to larger than the half dollar. They make anything fit perfectly in the cover.

I bought these to hold a set of commemorative crypto coins. Exactly 40 mm. They fit perfectly. Lid and base fit tightly, but still easy to open. Shipping was prompt. A very nice product for protecting your coins. Don't forget there are inserts to perfectly fit coins of different diameters.

Great price, Not as airtight as others. I have 39 mm coins and they are sloppy in these. You cannot get the foam around them. So for full 39 mm coins do not buy. These are easier to open and have a slight nail cutout to open, but this also makes them less air tight. Good price for money, wish they were 39mm and smaller.
