Small lightweight super portable and very ergonomic perfect for professional contractors
I do AV install mostly and cut a lot of single gang holes in sheetrock as well as speaker cutouts and long tracked cuts in sheetrock to run wires throughout homes also drill out tons of wood studs. This vaccum is all I need on the job site as long as I vaccum while drilling or cutting this thing is perfect. It's feature strong suction and is very ergonomic lightweight and can easily be used simultaneous while drilling or cutting by one person which is exactly what I needed. I was skeptical before buying but after putting to the test every day I couldn't be happier. As long as the unit is cleaned or regularly it powers through wood dust shavings and sheetrock dust all day. I like to Carey minimal tools and weight to work especially working throughout Manhattan and this vaccum is tiny lightweight and gets the job done. I highly recommend it to professionals in the field.

A vacuum
It does suck in air, but a little weaker than I expected. To be fair - I didn't know what to expect from an 18V vacuum to begin with, but I guess I thought it will do better. There are options for 1/4 of the price with battery included and I don't really know what will be the difference. Maybe long-term reliability, but I can't comment on that yet. In fact, Bosch already started to roll out 36V tools, so 18V may just disappear in 2-3 years, so you will need to buy a new one anyway.

Very little suction, disappointing for a Bosch tool
The 12 volt Bosch vacuum is far more powerful than this 18 volt version, this one is pretty useless. This after blowing the filters out with compressed air, everything is clean as it should be, and the vacuum still has virtually no suction. Not at all what I expected from Bosch, all of my other 18 volt Bosch tools are superb.
