Finally getting corrective lens's for my astigmatism made red dots an option. Putting an Ultradot on my S&W 629 Stealth Hunter helped bring out the performance the gun is capable of. Love the adjustable brightness and multiple dots. Scope was very easy to sight in and right on target. Went from one big target to a backing of the same size with 5 smaller targets on it. What a difference. Didn't notice that the scope moved at all. Have worked up multiple loads from cap gun 44 specials to 240 grain Nosler hunting rounds at full speed. Love this scope. Wish my old elbow could take the recoil like my Ultradot does.IF, Match dot was to make one change it should be making the windage knob of the same style as the elevation knob. Purchased 2 of these 1 was mounted on a Marlin 45-70 GBL and the other on a S&W 460 performance center 7 1/2 in barrack with an integrated weaver rail. Went to the range today and both were on paper out of the box. Recoil had no effect whatsoever on Either firearm. I was nervous about the 460 ruining the optic but it handled multiple cylinders like a champ and held zero. Clarity was fantastic and I was shocked on how quickly I had my firearms zero’d. I had a aimpoint pro mounted on a different rifle and this optic was just as good but almost half the price. I will definitely be picking up a few more on these to mount on a few other rifles I own. Keep stocking these up Amazon because I will be purchasing more after the holidays.

Fantastic red dot. Covers it all from bullseye with the 2moa dot to speed drills like steel plate and rimfire challenge, just select the right dot for you on any given day!

Having purchased one of the Ultra dot sights before about 15 years ago for my competition .22LR. And I would have thought at $189.00 the quality would have been at least the same. NOT SO GOOD. More money for a lot less. The brightness control is very stiff and doesn't move smoothly all. The red dot at higher brightness's is distorted and hard to sight in. At lower brightness's it's harder to see. Only one dot size. Old one for less money had 4 dot sizes and was much clearer. I have a daisy BB gun sight($4.99) that is clearer and easier to see. Wish it was made for a regular pistol. And to top all of that off, The wrong size hex key was included. So, I had to go find a hex key that would fit the ring screws. Try it if you must. Me personally will be going with a $25 red dot sight next time. About the same quality at an eighth the cost.

After going through five different red dots this is the best I have found and not even the most expensive. It has an adjustable MOA. 2 through 8. For target shooting competition you need a 2. We shoot off hand at 50' and an moa of 8 covers way too much of the target. With a 2 you can refine your sight to just the bullseye. It is very easy to adjust and it is easy to shut off and turn on and the illumination has a large range of brightness. You may buy another sight, but save yourself the time and start here if you are target shooting.

High quality. Very well made. Everything works as it should. But, it has features you may never use . Consider before you buy. Fewer features = much lower cost, just as good quality.
