I wanted this for in my car. I have a radar detector and a phone mount, both get disconnected a lot and having the cables stay in place would have been great.This did not work for meThis is basically a metal bar that sticks to something via an adhesive back. Additionally you have these 4 disks that can lock on a cable. The disks are magnetic and stic to the metal plate. The issue: These magnetic disks that lock onto cables are not magnetic enough and come off the plate way to easy. I would say they will come off every time I disconnect the cable if not by the weight of the cable itself in some situation every time by the simply removing the cable from the device will be enough to knock the magnet clip off the bar. This may work if you just need a cable organizer and you never plan on moving the device or touch or disconnecting the cable. There are not many situations where these would be great that I can think of.

This is basically an attractive steel plate with adhesive on one side and 4 magnetic holders. You open the holder and put the cable (there is a groove for thicker cables and very thin cables). Snap the holder closed and it will stick to the metal plate.The holders allow the cable to slide up and down. I'm using this to organize my charging station. The only downside is the holders want to stick to each other. I use more than 4 cables so I may have to get another one.
